First time I've attended a Trapdoor event and really enjoyed it.  The first act were Jolly Boat and I winced when I saw them taking the stage with guitar in hand.  Thought they were shit.  One guy was on called Simon Lomas and I thought he was brilliant too.  All in all a cracking night, will have to attend more comedy events like this. I don't mind Jollyboat. Simon Lomas is good. Kamaras-Tash
Just youtube'd Jollyboat and it was the cringiest thing I've seen in a long time, don't think I could sit there and watch that I'd have to walk off to the bar or something

Paid Members gmoney Posted April 12, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted April 12, 2017 I saw an Edinburgh preview he did last year and loved it. He took the stage dressed in a coat made of empty Strongbow cans. He had me from the off.
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted January 12, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted January 12, 2018 Just watched one of the new Dave Chappelle specials and I had to pause it when he did the bit about realising he was old because he stopped in the middle of a wank (paging @Scott Malbranque?)Â because I thought I was going to die. A brilliant special.
NoUseforaUsername
I'm still in my twenties and I do that all the time now. One of my favourite Chappelle bits is the homeless masturbator holding people hostage on the bus.
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted January 13, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted January 13, 2018 I've not watched the new Dave Chappelles yet. Anybody see the new Vic & Bob on the BBC over Christmas? A friend got me a ticket to go and see Bill Bailey with her in April, which I'm rather looking forward to. Gutted I've missed the boat on Dave Gorman & Tim Vine tour tickets, though. Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted January 13, 2018 Awards Moderator Share Posted January 13, 2018 I loved Vic and Bob's special, though it was heavy with nostalgia for the C4 show. Got tickets for Dave Gorman and Dara O'Briain in Southend this year.
Paid Members Dead Mike Posted January 13, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted January 13, 2018 A new Tom Segura special has been added to Netflix, looking forward to watching it tonight. His first 'Completely Normal' is one of my favourites but I was a bit disappointed with his 2nd. Fingers crossed this is a belter.
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted January 13, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted January 13, 2018 Dave Gorman's on tour again? His marriage on the rocks or something? He must hardly ever be home.

Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted January 13, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted January 13, 2018 Has he? That's a shame, I love Modern Life.
Paid Members Nick Soapdish Posted January 13, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted January 13, 2018 When you consider very few stand ups do an hours worth of new material a year, Dave was producing almost 6-8 hours per series. A massive amount really and must have been hard work for sure
Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted January 13, 2018 Awards Moderator Share Posted January 13, 2018 Dave wrote about it on his blog: http://gormano.blogspot.co.uk/2017/12/goodish-bye.html?m=1 The schedule sounds insane.
