Homer: BERSERK IS RIGHT!

(after Grampa says he's going to the outhouse)

Lisa: Wait a minute, we don't have an outhouse...

Similarly to that one, The Simpsons are staying at a family members house.

Homer: I'm going to use the outhouse

Man: Outhouse? Oh my God my recording studio!

A few from the (topically-scheduled) horse racing episode that was on C4 tonight. Haven't seen it in ages and forgot how many decent bits and pieces there are in it:

"I'd rather let a thousand guilty men go free than chase after them."

Homer: He better win, because if he doesn't, it's a trip to the glue factory. And he isn't coming!

Lenny: It's a brilliant tour, but you can't see it all in one day.

"Good luck getting a horse to eat dog food..."

Homer: I'll deal with those murderous trolls...

Bart: Huh?

Homer: I mean... I'll deal with those murderous trolls...

Sorry for the thread resurrection, but I had Creedence Clearwater Revival on in the car on the way to work today, and was reminded of this, which to be fair I've probably already posted in here somewhere:

Official: Do you know CPR?

Homer: "I see, a bad moon rising..."

Marge: Homer, that's CCR!

Homer: (worried) "Looks like, we're in for stormy weather..."

Then I switched to the radio, and 'I Am The Walrus' was on, and I was reminded of Bart and Milhouse finding Flanders' secret Beatles room, which contained the George Harrison DIY gem - 'I'm fixing a hole... in my drywall!'

That same scene also has Bart quoting the "dripping from a dead dog's eye" line, if I recall.

The Simpsons can do fantastic musical references when it wants to.

EDIT: I'm just re-reading through the whole thread. There are so many brilliant lines, I'm chuckling to myself and getting some very odd looks at work...

The Stonecutters episode was on channel 4 today, one of those twenty minute bursts of utter genius where you remember how The Simpsons at its best really was The Best Thing Ever.

"It's a secret..."
