Moxley promoting his book on Observer Radio is phenomenal. I’ve only listened to the first twenty minutes so far, which is mostly just him complaining about moving house, but it’s wildly entertaining. I’m more convinced than ever that what we see on AEW TV is just his real life personality amplified. I could completely believe that after hanging up on that call he went and murdered someone before storming back home, pushing over any fans in his way.

I can’t wait to read it.

I picked up Mox's book. Enjoying it so far despite the format being a bit all over the place. It's like a series of pretty well written Facebook posts so far. It's all over, it's not formatted like any biog I've read. On the bright side, there's no debate about whether he wrote it himself.

I wasn't a huge fan. I get what he was going for with it but would have preferred a straight autobiography rather than jumping about and mad ramblings. I think the chapter on The Shield is the only one that felt like genuine good writing rather than a blog post.

Was going to pay for the hardcover & was really looking forward to reading it. But after reading bits online & hearing its (disappointingly) random blog post like in format, I nicked it off Z Library instead.

I'll judge it when I've finished but I'll take most spins on the autobiography format which I'm bored to shit of. The last few I've picked up, I could barely get through the "my tedious childhood and adolescence" chapters.

Has anyone here ever read any of Scott Teal's various wrestling history books or any of the books he's written with people like Ole Anderson and Don Fargo? Are they good?

They're generally pretty good as he does a great job of keeping it in the voice of the subject, but making sure it flows well and is historically accurate (or at least you can tell the difference between the facts and the guy's opinion/interpretation.)

A few that I've reviewed:

Does anyone know if there are any decent wrestling coffee table books? There's a ton of great wrestling photography out there and I'd like to have some in one place in physical form.

I know it has "Erotic" in the title, but it really was a wrestling book that I really didn't know what to expect when I got it a year or so back.

Some awesome pictures amongst some... ahem... well y'know.

I love some of the Taschen books as they really do have awesome pictures. I have Horror Cinema, DC 75 Years, DC Golden Age, SNL, 1000 Record Covers, Circus 1870-1950s. All amazing.
