Such a good album. I’ve got tickets to see them in October, which I’m buzzing for.

Going to see Bad Religion and Uk Subs on Friday. Taking the chance to see UK Subs whilst I can, as you can’t imagine they’re going to go on much longer. The singers 80.

When are the stage times for download normaly put out?

It's my first time with more than a day ticket and where there are multiple people I want to see, so I've never needed to try and plan before.

They usually get released in the week leading up to it, so early next week I would imagine.

Pre-COVID I’d basically stopped going to gigs, out of sheer laziness mostly and a misplaced idea that I was ‘too old’. Lockdown showed me life was far too short, so I’m making an effort to go to a couple of shows a month this year.

I saw Brian Fallon last week, and for the rest of the year I’ve booked;

Bad Religion, Dying Fetus/Ingested, Deftones (at Kentish Town Forum, which should be absolutely fantastic), Red Hot Chili Peppers (not a huge fan anymore, but the band that got me into guitar music so just ticking it off the bucket list), Bouncing Souls, Anti-Flag, Gaslight Anthem, Amon Amarth, Behemoth, Hot Water Music/BoySetsFire, Coheed, Cave In and Pavement.

Pretty happy with that itinerary ?

Not a regular visitor to this thread but Bad Religion, what a band. First came across them when 'You' was on the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 soundtrack, and recently stumbled across some more of their back catalogue. I am many, many, MANY years behind the curve on them, but they're bloody fantastic. Punk Rock song and American Jesus are wonderful.

Did you see that they're playing all the European shows with a stand in guitarist because Steph "isn't ready" to travel? (basically because he's still a massive anti-vax conspiracy nut).

I’m seeing Bad Religion on Saturday. Deciding if I should go all punker than thou and wear my Against The Grain top I got in the early 90s and sneer at young fans like a few older ‘punks’ do.

Yeah they announced an ‘intimate show’ with 24 hours notice last week. Just happened to spot it on insta; tickets were insane. I couldn’t even get in on Ticketmaster, but my mate managed a couple of balcony spots.

2000 people is such a small crowd for them.

They were really shady about it all. Steph posted a video online the day before they were supposed to leave for Europe saying that he wasn't going to be on the tour. He made it sound like it was a last minute decision that they had been trying to work around, even though the guy standing in for him had been playing back up guitar on all their US tour the months previous. So it was all obviously planned well in advance.

That, plus "future endeavour-ing" Sergio on the sly recently has put a bad taste in my mouth.
