The new Zeal & Ardor is fucking great. It goes all over the place with genres, whilst being a cohesive thing. Even the black metal style vocal screams don't annoy the piss out of me which they tend to do on straight up BM stuff.

IIRC it was a dare in a thread to make a "black music" plus black metal project (a more racist term was used) and he went and did it, it blew up online. He was posting other genre mixes at the time too under another name.

Just had a little look at the line up. It's pretty good at the top, the undercard is a little weak tbh however.

You need to see Speedhorn. Arguably the best live band in the country at the moment.

Yeah, im a big fan of Raging Speedhorn. When they reformed back id never have expected them to out a couple of new records and consistently tour, i thought it'd a one off thing.

The lineup is different but they're still great. Speedhorn's success in the early 00's remains a bit of an anomaly. I saw them times back in the day, as well as opening the main stage at Ozzfest, but they were so different to anyone they played with, but they just connected. 

I mean, talk about the odd band out. The only British band on the bill outside of Sabbath too.
