Moderators PowerButchi Posted January 11, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 11, 2015 Yeah, Gilmore Girls is great. Also, don't discount daytime detectives like Quincy and Diagnosis Murder.

Paid Members PunkStep Posted January 11, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted January 11, 2015 Monk is ace, I might look into getting the boxset as I've never seemed to watch it all in order. Is that the one where the detective has OCD? I watched a couple of episodes last summer on holiday, quite enjoyable. Â Peak Practice, no. Just no. Mr_Danger
Peak Practice meant the weekend was over and you might as well go to bed unless you were lucky and Stand By Me was on Chanel 4 at 10pm.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted January 11, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 11, 2015 Ahhhh, the Sunday Stink. Fuck you Watching, fuck you Gary Wilmot's Showstoppers, and mostly fuck you Heartbeat.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted January 11, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted January 11, 2015 Don't forget Where The Heart Is! Sunday + TV + Yorkshire = pain and suffering.

Even now whenever I hear the Heartbeat theme tune I still get that sense of dread that Id get when I was younger 'shit, school tomorrow'
Steve Justice
I used to be a fan of Heartbeat. In the very first episode Wicksy's missus got her tits out. That's how they get you.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted January 12, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 12, 2015 Yeah, but it was a gritty 9PM on a Friday concern then for that first series. It was pretty good, actually.
Paid Members Maverick Posted January 12, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted January 12, 2015 Then when Heartbeat was on it's yearly break they invented The Royal to take it's place, double trouble! London's Burning is another that sticks out as upsetting Sunday evening viewing.
Paid Members gmoney Posted January 12, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted January 12, 2015 Heartbeat and London's Burning are pure Sunday early evening shite. Just remembering them makes me think I might have maths first period tomorrow.
Paid Members FLips Posted January 12, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted January 12, 2015 Sundays were the worst. Was Ballykiss Angel on a Sunday too?
Rey_Piste
I still remember the best thing about Sunday evenings was Hale and Pace or Spitting Image. That's if Movie Drome with Alex Cox wasn't on 2, because you could be guaranteed at least two out of the holy trinity of sex, violence and swearing in what was being shown.
