Paid Members Nick James Posted May 25, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted May 25, 2014 I've just sat down to watch a few episodes of Game of Thrones and during the intro, when the HBO static screen comes on, it got me thinking. Whenever I see the screen and noise, I automatically play the Entourage theme song in my head straight after. Â I'm sure i'm not the only one that associates the intro with a certain TV show, but, what I was wondering, is what does it remind you of? Paid Members gmoney Posted May 25, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted May 25, 2014 The Sopranos. I think you probably are stuck with the first HBO show you first watched.
Slapnut
Definitely The Sopranos, but I'm rewatching Entourage at the moment so I get that.

King Pitcos
I'm ashamed to say, I still haven't gotten around to watching The Sopranos. I watched the first couple of seasons sporadically on TV when they were first on, but I fell out of the loop with it and then saw bits and pieces enough that it's probably too spoilt for me to watch now. I've got this fear that it'll be weak compared to the more modern shows that followed it too. Now that the TV season's over, I might give it a crack over the summer. Paid Members Nick James Posted May 25, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted May 25, 2014 That's been my feeling of it. It's so highly regarded and I've seen enough clips of the show, including the ending, that I feel it couldn't live up to the hype and expectation. I'll eventually get the box set and hopefully be proven wrong.
Undefeated Steak
I still need to get around to The Sopranos. Again I can't see it being anywhere near as good as I hope it will be, no matter how much I try and lower my expectations of it. I rarely watch television, especially series, but I was blown away by True Detective. Can't praise it enough.
King Pitcos
Have the showrunners or writers of Lost ever done a thing since it finished where they've talked about things that were supposed to be different and plans that changed etc?
