This new Ghostbusters movie is probably going to be a right parcel, but is anyone else curious as to what kind of cameo Murray and Aykroyd will play? They are keeping tight lipped about it still.

I know she has her fans on here, and the wonderful D-Mal is one of them, but I really dislike that Melissa McCarthy one.

She's a fucking terrible actress and my fucking apologies but I'd say her muckpipe looks like the underneath of the fat end of a carrot.

Her female version of Chris Farley routine is annoying as hell. She actually not bad in more serious stuff but all her comedy is essentially her falling over because she's fat. She's the US version of Miranda.

I can think of several very funny women off the top of my head - writers, stand ups and actors. She just isn't one of them.

This is such a ridiculously out dated statement I imagine you don't watch any sitcoms to come out with something like that.

Also, the plural of actress is actresses, and you don't use an apostrophe for pluralisation.

Melissa McCarthy.

I thought she was alright in that film she did with Jason Bateman, but apart from that have not been a huge fan of her work.

I thought she was great in that Comedy-Drama she did with Bill Murray - "St. Vincent". Proved that she's got some acting chops to me.

She looks like Ricky Gervais to me, in Bridesmaids anyway. Women comedians and actress' in general arent funny are they?

Kristen Wiig

Amy Poehler

Sarah Millican

Whoopi Goldberg

Mindy Kaling

Your Mum

All of the top of my head. There are plenty more, I assure you.

Take Amy Poehler off that list and I honestly wouldn't know if you were agreeing with him or not. Sarah Millican and Whoopi Goldberg!!!

But yeah, it's a stupid thing to say and comments like that are the reason that everyone who finds the trailer terrible is being labelled as sexist.

You lost me at that one, Steve.

Melissa McCarthy was great in St. Vincent as bAz mentioned, but she's quite irritating in everything else I've seen her in.  However, she doesn't come close to the level of anger I feel whenever I see Rebel Wilson in a film or on a chat show.

What's everybody's opinion on Amy Schumer?  She's made out to be some sort of pioneer in female comedy but her "I'm such a slut hahahaha" act is fucking horrible.
