Members SuperBacon Posted 13 hours ago Members Posted 13 hours ago Reminds me of when I saw Die Hard 4 in Dundee with my Dad and he asked what time the film started and got told 9, and then asked what time the actual film started and matey looked at him like he was an absolute numpty and said "I've just told you, 9" and lo and behold bang on 9. No adverts or anything. Class. Quote

So setting the bar to entry slightly higher seems an easy fix. Quote

My cousin's dog literally died of fear during a particularly lengthy display. My own pets live in absolute terror every time they're in use. I can only imagine what impact they have on wild animals. Then you do have situations every year in which they're tossed through letterboxes, thrown at emergency service workers and just generally used to cause terror. I hate them. Quote

A mirror in a clothes shop is handy if you just want to hold an item up against you. You don't always need to try everything on to see if it works. Or likewise if you're with someone and put something on in the fitting room then want to show them you can both look in a shop floor mirror at it together rather than the other person having to come into the fitting room. And why do under 18s be banned from shops after a certain time? Children and teenagers are humans too and being part of this world means engaging with them. They shouldn't be forced out of public spaces and made to stay indoors just because they violate some weird abstract rules of etiquette you've made up in your own head. Some of you lot, Jesus Christ. Paid Members JLM Posted 12 hours ago Paid Members Posted 12 hours ago (edited) In-store mirrors are necessary because children famously don’t have reflections due to their nature. Public mirrors allow for easy detection so they can be swiftly eliminated after infiltrating the shop. Edited 12 hours ago by JLM Quote
Paid Members Chris B Posted 12 hours ago Paid Members Posted 12 hours ago Plus mirrors just confuse children, as they keep swiping on them trying to watch TikTok. Quote
wordsfromlee Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Not just e-scooters on pavements, but also OAPs who drive their mobility scooters at 5mph on the road. They should get done for no road tax or insurance. Quote

Little do they know we have access to who leaves feedback. They’ll get poo on a stick as a warning first but it’s either a 0 or a 10 next time or else. Quote
Cousin Jim Bob Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I think Blackpool is the UK's epicentre for mobility scooters. The amount of shops selling them seem to rival Vape shops. Plus a million twats on chipped e-bikes/e-scooters. As there is a lot of combined cycle paths/pedestrian pavements, you get the lovely combination of OAP's driving 4 mph on roads, and wankers driving 40 mph on pavements. Quote
Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted 7 hours ago Paid Members Posted 7 hours ago There is an old guy near us who has a mobility scooter that is in full Valentino Rossi Yamaha MotoGP livery. It makes me laugh every time I see it doing 4mph. Quote
