So theoretically, I suppose he could still wrestle for CMLL. Quote

When Ospreay said Omega wasn’t there, I assumed that he actually was; but as it turned out he was telling the truth. I’m guessing Omega is physically banged up or something and needed to reduce travel time. There has to be a reason for them making this choice, surely. The final build for Willow/Mercedes - to this point the best built match on the card - was seriously disappointing. They’d created an emotional feud with believable mic work on both sides, Mercedes unfairly accusing Willow of being a bully and Willow struggling to believe she’d achieved her dream of becoming a World Champion. This week we were back to Mercedes doing the cartoonish villain laugh - something she should drop entirely - and we finished with a segment that didn’t let either woman convey the emotion they have to this point. I’m hoping it’s because it’s purposely not the end of the feud and they’re going to give them the main event at the PPV following All In. Jericho entering the Casino Gauntlet is the right move, and although I know I’m not going to get much agreement on this, I wouldn’t be against him winning. As far as I can think, he’s not had another World Title shot - or a title feud at least - since dropping the belt all those years ago. If putting him in the position to win the belt one last time doesn’t lead to something interesting, he’s a lost cause. It’s something new for him at least, and would force him to drop the bad comedy. And if it doesn’t work, it’s out of the way and he can be relegated down the card again. Divine Dominion continue to feel like huge stars. I don’t want them to drop the belts on Sunday but suspect they will. The Brawling Birds are horrendous. Two talented wrestlers, one shitty gimmick. I hope Collision is a better show, but they missed an opportunity here after some great booking in the weeks prior. @Egg Shen - seems to have been a great live experience though, my friend and her sons had a great time and sent me a thank you text, which ultimately belongs to you for making that initial post. I took my son last year when they were here and I felt like it really dragged in but seeing as he wanted to go again, it is on our door step and tickets were 50% off I took him again. I thought it was a really good. It didn't seem to drag in anywhere near like it did last year. Every segment seemed worthwhile for the build towards the PPV and the matches were enjoyable. I probably wouldn't have bothered watching the PPV on Sunday but as a very casual, lapsed fan the show gave me enough interest in multiple matches that I am now actually looking forward to it. At the bottom of it all, that's the job done isn't it. I've became really bored with WWE, at best I would have watched the 10 minute highlights on YouTube for RAW and SD and then the PPV's however now I'm reduced to just reading results of PPV's on wikipedia or my son telling me about it. I watched Summerslam with him and thought it was shite. I just felt this all seemed really fresh, fun and entertaining. Potentially it's just as it was all relatively fresh for me but I also felt it was really easy to tune into what was going on and what had went on. They do however have far too many champions. It was genuinely hard to keep track of and many of them seem to have very similar names as well where I'm also not entirely sure which ones are presented as more or less prestigious than the others. Edge looks awful. He reminded me a lot of when I was about 19 and was playing football at a decent level still. One of the coaches was an ex pro but in his early 50's and every Saturday night he would turn up for the post match night out dressed in the same style as me and the other young lads. You could tell he thought that we all looked upto him and thought he was one of the lads but the reality is we all just felt a bit sorry for him and his desperate attempt to try and cling onto his youthful exploits. I'll admit that I'm biased as Edge is one of my all-time favourites, but I like the fact he's not trying to look as he did when he was younger, as seems to happen with every veteran in WWE; as they dye their hair and pretend they're still who they were rather than play into the idea that they're not. He's disadvantaged slightly, I suppose, by the fact Christian apparently does not age. But yeah, I'm enjoying their reunion run, and I don't think either of them have lost a step in the ring - particularly Christian, who has somehow become one of the greatest AEW characters ever. Really glad you had a good time - this was actually a weaker show for AEW, so if you liked this, I'd definitely recommend watching some of the previous build to All In, particularly the promos between Mercedes Mone and Willow Nightingale.
