How they can do Cody vs. Roman again before doing Cody vs. Punk is beyond me. Why are these bookers allergic to doing such an obviously massive match?!

Punk vs Breaker is a really drab Mania main event, seems like the kind of match they should do at the Rumble.

Thought they would go with Cody/Roman, unless Cody goes heel there isn't much appeal to that for me really.

In fairness to them, that was clearly the point. It was a sledgehammer subtle reference point to the Penta injury, to make it seem convincing.

I feel like it fits the Dom character to pull that sort of thing. It's not like they did the solemn voices and the ambulance deal, so it's not even in the top 500 most egregious things the company has ever pulled, for me.

Way too soon for anything to be “apparent” - is Meltzer or someone claiming this, or is it just what you’ve inferred?

The one thing that’s annoyed me, not just in the build but last night too, is the way Reigns has been booked to come back repeatedly, the latter of which after a beating by Reed, and still not show a thread of humility for any of his actions over the last 4-5 years

Roman/Cody would need a lot of work for it to be remotely interesting to me again. In their current state I'm not sure what either character offers to make it a Mania worthy main event, although that never stopped them with Lesnar.

It’s what Meltzer claimed is ‘apparent’ after Survivor Series ended - completely disregarding, of course, that nothing was suggested towards this year’s main events by this point in 2024.

Saw an amazing stat the other day that Roman has had more returns this year than he’s had matches.

No idea how true it is, but the fact that it could be true is funny enough.

Somebody else mentioned it earlier, but it's incredible how poor Flair looks at pretty much all aspects of being a professional wrestler.

You contrast it with Vaquer, who just has it and looks a megastar in making and it's night and day.

Reigns vs Rock and Cody vs Punk I can get behind.

I do think The Rock is done in-ring though, maybe a 1% chance he wrestles at the Saudi Mania.
