I never have to hear that stupid RUBEN AMORIIIIIIIM song ever again (sang inexplicably during terrible performances at home) I honestly cant remember a manager getting so much fan support while performing so poorly. 32% league win rate. Took a year just to record back to back wins. Lost to Grimsby in the League Cup. Lost to 10 men Everton (for almost the entire game!) at Old Trafford. Absolutely pitiful performances against awful teams like West Ham and Wolves. His biggest crime is THE SYSTEM~! which has caused all commentators to become utterly obsessed with how United line up. Commentary has been utterly unlistenable for quite some time as its all anyone wants to talk about. Things should get better now for a bit. Bruno and Mount should be back soon, Slabhead and De Ligt too hopefully. AFCON lads due to back. Ideally a manager who will play 442 or 4231 and hopefully get the best out of the good players there. I look at Lammens, Martinez, Bruno, Mbeumo, Cunha and a few others and there's the best part of a really good side there. Quote

The only way to keep your job at either is to win the league having won every game 5-0 and turn a transfer profit of more than 200 million quid. The only one worse is the Scottish version. Its the same but you have to beat Celtic 10-0 if you manage Rangers, and vice versa. Quote

But as a Wolves fan who finally got a win this season at the 20th time of asking, it does make me chuckle when I see United or Liverpool fans moaning about the disaster of a season they're having. Then again, there will be clubs in the bottom tier without a pot to piss in who will be looking at us going 'poor, Premier League, financially secure Wolves' so obviously it's all relative. Quote

Especially when you consider the money we've made on transfers, stadium capacity and last seasons Champions League run, we've completely regressed. Quote

I don't think I remember a season when I would be so unsure of the outcome of almost any match. Really wanted Amorim to make it work - United have tried so many different approaches, had so many different managers, it just seemed ridiculous to let yet another one go. He shouldn't have been appointed in the first place, really; all this has done is emphasise just what a bullshitter Ratcliffe is, with his "best-in-class" bollocks. The Ashworth debacle is now looking even more of a fucking mess - finally admitting defeat and firing the manager you let your brand-new, publicly-pursued Director of Football go over his objections to is the crowning turd in the water pipe. It’s all relative though. Not once have I looked at Wolves and thought “at least we’re not them”. I don’t give a shit about Wolves and Wolves haven’t just won the league, spent half a billion quid and still had no strikers in their last match day squad nor any wingers (I’m not counting Gakpo as a wide player anymore). We’re a centre back injury away from our season completely imploding. A much nicer problem than any Wolves have but it’s all nonsense footy shite anyway. At least United fans won’t have to see Amad stunted as a wing back now. I remember Rodgers playing Sterling as a wing back a couple of times and I’m convinced it’s what sent him to City. The problem United have now is that they’ll have too many no10’s and centre backs and they still desperately need legs in midfield. Quote
