Browser Brady Posted January 5 Posted January 5 (edited) I liked Amorin and thought there was definitely an improvement pretty much in all areas. However it did seem they were quite basic/limited in terms of strategy. Like you would see them play the ball out to the wings and either cross it or cut back. Good riddance to an absolute shambles of a manager, hopefully the transfers he was trying to bring in don't happen either, none of them looked any good in reading. Quote

Honestly, I’m gutted that O’Neill is back. I was hoping he’d tell them where to go after having the league cup final taken away from him, but he’ll win you the league now. I really like MON, and while I ordinarily wouldn’t want to see him fail, I really, really want Hearts to win the title. So here’s hoping Nancy has done damage that can’t be undone in a hurry. He’s more than welcome to take a few points from Rangers along the way, and succeed in Europe (assuming that can still happen, I’ve lost track) and the Scottish Cup. Paid Members I Bent My Wookie Posted January 6 Paid Members Posted January 6 I've somewhat resigned myself to Hearts doing a full Leicester City @RedTwoster. They've a strong overall squad being helped out by the best striker in the league having some weird obsession with not wanting to leave them. It would hopefully push our board to stop fannying about building a rainy day fund and actually invest in the club. The academy boys just haven't been great, our scouting network is a disaster in "sign Asian player, make money in Asian market, sell for money because other clubs see merchandise sales" like we did once with Kyogo and have somewhat failed since. Its gonna be a weird few months. As long as Rangers don't win anything MON can have a statue for life outside the stadium. Quote

They’ve been a bit less consistent as of late, whereas MON - during his previous spell - did a great job of utilising the players he had to make the team hard to beat. To be honest, the way they’ve chopped and changed boss over the last few years probably made it inevitable that whoever came in would insist on something very, very long-term. I’m amazed Rosenior had the leverage to negotiate a contract of THAT length though, so they’d best hope it all works out. Quote
