I get, keeper's arms collided with Gibbs-White's head because of the nature of him being a keeper but equally Gibbs-White nutted his arms. I'm not a massive fan of them forensically looking for fouls anyway but in a game this big when that 2 point swing means so much, it's pretty sickening. The offside that stopped West Ham going 2-0 up was incredibly unlucky too. Again, I know offside is offside but the semi-automated tech graphic showing his back and shoulders were offside is also sickening. That's just not what offside should be about. The robotification of football is a nonsense. I really hate it. It'll be the NFL in another 20 years. Quote

A superb striker, 5th in our all time goal scorers list with 167, and someone that has always loved the club, bless him. Me and a mate have a big in joke between us that whenever you see those "Club legends" nights or whatever, it's always, always Big Chiv they'd wheel out and the club would overwork him "LadiesandgentlemenyourveryownMrMartinChiveeeeeeers" etc Always sad when a club legend goes. A West Ham fan known to my person went to see Spurs vs West Ham back in the olden days. Sir Geoff was on the pitch and they could hear chants of "Geoff Hurst" reverberating around the Lane. How touching they thought, Spurs fans showing legit respect to our world cup winner. On their retelling of the admiration shown to the hat-trick hero it was pointed out, "You daft git, they were chanting Chiv-ERS." Quote

lanky316 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Offside came directly from a blatant corner the referee gave as a goal kick. They had to try and redeem themselves by finding anything they could to disallow it. Quote
