I thought they would reunite Cope/Christian for All In but now we have All Out IN Canada it makes sense to maybe move it there. Although I still don't get how we're going to get there. After Revolution, it looked like Nick Wayne/Kip might turn on Christian as there were a few digs about Christian's failed cash in. However that seems to have changed now and Christian seems to be antagonising/goading Nick where you'd expect Nick to turn face and stand up to the bully. If Nick turns on Christian now, I don't see Christian getting much sympathy, and it seems like a short time to work in a redemption arc. I did wonder if potentially, they could have a heel Cope/Christian reunion but with FTR and Young Bucks already heel it doesn't seem that likely.

Great American Bash is part of a weekend takeover of Atlanta, with the Evolution premium live event also happening in the city on Sunday, July 13 from the State Farm Arena.

Unfortunately for WWE, they booked the show on the same day as a Beyonce concert happening across the street at the Mercedes Benz Stadium and combo tickets for SNME and Evolution haven’t moved much yet.

 

Beyonce has booked the stadium for 4 nights: July 10th, 11th, 13th, and 14th, that leaves Saturday 12th free for NXT/SNME but may impact Evolution on the Sunday.

I can't imagine there's much of a crossover between people going to WWE and Beyonce like. If anything it's even better, dad's drop their girls off at Beyonce and go watch WWE whilst it's on; whilst Evolution is a "womens only PPV", i dont think itd attract much of a different audience, it its not selling it'll be more of a reflection on the inteest in WWEs women division than a concert over the road.

Didn't the original Evolution show, perform poorly? Or am I remembering it wrong?

I remember the first Evolution reportedly did on the, “low end,” in regards to ticket sales, but I think tickets sold will be the last metric they’ll use to determine the success of, “Evolution 2: Hush Money.”

Have they even confirmed Evolution 2 as an all womens PLE? It could just be a 3 hour HHH vanity project.

I would have assumed the Edge & Christian reunion was on tap for All In, until they announced the Toronto show. My guess is that the reunion angle happens at All In, for the match at All Out. Potentially a big angle in the build at Fyter Fest, and whatever other big special edition Dynamites there are along the way can help move it along. 

Best Of The Super Juniors has just ended, so that's Nick Wayne back soon to further his story with Christian Cage. So maybe we get Nick Wayne vs. Christian Cage at All In, and Copeland doing something else - either he returns at All In to cost FTR a match, then Christian saves him from taking another Spike Piledriver, or he returns before All In and teams with another babyface (Daniel Garcia, or with another "legend" for FTR to take out), and that match leads to Christian saving Cope. There are steps missing in that to make it make sense, but I agree that it's a lot of moving parts to get in place.

In terms of the rest of the All In card, I can see either Swerve vs. Ospreay or Swerve & Ospreay vs. The Young Bucks being added to the mix, depending which direction that story takes. There will presumably be something with the Hurt Syndicate and MJF, and the remainder of the Death Riders presumably have a match somewhere against assorted babyfaces - here's hoping for an Eddie Kingston/Mark Briscoe/Willow Nightingale superfriends team. I assume there will be some Lucha representation on the card too; whether that's a big showcase match for the CMLL guys, something for Bandido, Komander and Hologram, or just luchadores in the Casino Gauntlet (which I assume is happening).

As well as the Casino Gauntlet, I could see there being another go at the Trios Ladder Match from last year - The Opps (depending where things go with them and Hook) vs. the Don Callis Family vs. Paragon wouldn't be a bad start; could also add in a Lucha team, and potentially whatever Ricochet's faction ends up being (my guess is him + CRU), and then if there's any scope for returns from the Bang Bang Gang, or any other teams I'm forgetting.

On top of that, it's Texas, so I assume the Sons Of Texas get a spot, and/or the Von Erichs if they're healthy, even if it's just on the pre-show. I hope there's at least one women's match outside of Moné vs. Storm, and to keep up the Texan angle, I'd put money on Athena being part of that.

I don't think ticket sales were the main metric for the first one either; it was a deflection from the fact that there were no women on the first Saudi show, so they needed some relationship massaging to show how progressive and inclusive they are. I don't think they care about that now, but they do care about trying to counter-programme AEW putting on the biggest women's match they have available to them.

The post Dynamite clip on Collision with Swerve and Osprey coming to blows seems more like they're angling towads Swerve vs. Osprey, which is probably a more exciting prospect really. Although one does assume there'd be a Bucks match at All In (Hurt Syndicate?)

Couple of weeks of teased tension resulting in Swerve eventually agreeing to help deal with the Bucks to help clear the way for Hangman, I'd expect.
