Although one does assume there'd be a Bucks match at All In (Hurt Syndicate?) I suspect we’ll end up seeing a Swerve/Ospreay match, but not at All In - likely on Dynamite as the story continues to unravel. I reckon they’ll be teaming up at All In to face either The Death Riders, or The Bucks. Quote
The King of Old School Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 There's something like 20 hours of TV before All In so yeah I can see Swerve and Ospreay facing each other to get it out of there system before teaming up at All In. Hopefully against The Bucks, that would be a cracker. Quote
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted June 3, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 3, 2025 I think Nick Jackson might be injured so that could throw a spanner in the works. Last I read it wasn't clear if he'd be ready for All In. Swerve/Ospreay can easily keep their story in a holding pattern for a few weeks then go for a tag match with the Bucks or a singles at All In quite easily depending on if Jackson is cleared. Quote
Tennessee Moltisanti Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Swerve Vs Ospreay at Dynamite 300, Ospreay wins, and then the rubber match at All In as they shake hands and then assist with clearing the way for Hangman. Quote
WyattSheepMask Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 (edited) Some people already expecting some kind of 2hr epic out of Omega/Okada need to calm down, I doubt Omega has got much past a 30 minute match in him these days. They’ll put on a great showing though no doubt. Part of me wants to say they’ll get a ticket boost out of that match being announced, but another part of me thinks that anyone that would get excited by it has probably already bought a ticket. The International title has just kind of been there for the last few months whereas the Continental title at least has the Classic going for it each year, so I’m hoping they quietly unify them and just have it as the Continental title going forward (and ditch the TNT title completely while they’re at it) Surely everything is pointing towards a Hangman title win to then defend against Osprey at Forbidden Door, right? Paid Members BomberPat Posted June 5, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 5, 2025 I'm fascinated by what Omega and Okada do in that match - there's no way they can match what they did in NJPW, but they're both smart enough to know not to try. I'm curious what they come up with that's different enough to not be in the shadow of what they've done previously, while also not disappointing anyone who expects them to be able to still wrestle like they could 8 years ago. They've been coasting on teasing people with staredowns and brief interactions, and it's a match that pretty much sells itself, but I hope Kenny at least remembers that Okada and the Bucks beat him up and threw him off a stretcher while he had diverticulitis. Get some actual heat behind it so people are expecting more of a brawl than a showy "dream match" that they won't be able to live up to. Quote
The King of Old School Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Can we have Hangman's original music back for this event please? Quote
Paid Members Kamran Posted June 5, 2025 Author Paid Members Posted June 5, 2025 As of Tuesday, they've passed over 16,000 tickets, hopefully the Omega/Okada announcement on Wednesday will shift a few more. I noticed the only way to get tickets for the ROH Supercard of Honor show on the 11th is if you buy one of the below tickets for All In. It's taking place at the ESports Stadium where they had the residency last year, so it can hold approx. 1300 fans. It will be interesting to see how that works out, feels a little risky to me. Oh...and they've just announced the below: Quote

The old music is just the start. This is Hangman Adam Page, AEW Main Character, in Texas, in a stadium, finishing his story and saving the company. I want this, but on steroids. Replace Dark Order with Ospreay, Swerve, Omega and Eddie Kingston. Everyone is on horseback, wearing a cowboy hat. This is our moment. The most back anyone has ever been. Absolutely fucking terrified Will Ospreay is going to turn heel and Wrestlemania 39 us all. Quote

RedTwoster Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 This is very off-topic, but AEW has done some tremendous entrances and I absolutely love it when they do. This is another favourite of mine: He’s a tool, and he’s crap these days - but at the time, Jericho’s entrance on the boat - when the entrance theme-singing trend got underway - was really good: And pretty much any Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston entrance when they were a team was tremendous: I had no nostalgia for this theme at all, but I bloody love this CM Punk entrance: And finally - I think I said Hangman’s Dark Order entrance was my favourite ever. I was wrong. I’d forgotten about this: Absolutely magical. Quote

The boy becomes a man' vibe. Funny given it was his first PPV showdown with Mox. Edited June 5, 2025 by Chili Quote

Four shows, Jeremy? Four? That’s insane. The following has just been announced (via wrestling-Online): Quote WWE and The American Bank Center Arena in Corpus Christi, Texas, announced a rare non-televised live event for Saturday, July 19. Labeled as a WWE Supershow, advertised to appear are Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Gunther, Jacob Fatu, Solo Sikoa, Tiffany Stratton, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Rhea Ripley, Seth Rollins, The New Day, and more. WWE has pretty much stopped all house shows except for a few in the European market and during the Christmas period. Tickets will go on sale Friday, June 13 at 10AM CT on Ticketmaster.com. A pre-sale will kick off on Wednesday, June 11 at 10AM CT. This is the week after All In and it's about a 6-hour drive from Arlington, however I do wonder if WWE thinks this could hurt AEW's final push for All In tickets. Quote
DavidB6937 Posted June 7, 2025 Posted June 7, 2025 Surprised they haven't just moved Wrestlemania to that date at this point. Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted June 7, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 7, 2025 I read a rumour on Teletext that Triple H and Road Dogg are going to be standing outside Globe Life Field when doors open, jingling keys in the hope of distracting a few more people. WWE being this obsessed with fucking with this show is the most obvious metric yet that AEW are building momentum. Tony should be chuffed. More importantly, Bryan Danielson has been announced for Starrcast, the convention they host alongside All In. It’s happening, lads. Cowboys Assemble! Quote
