He and Arthur Matthews got shafted with that to be fair. They only got royalties from CH4 for one set of repeats, meaning that network haven't paid them a penny in years. I've no idea about the home media royalties. This is all from Linehan's gob mind, so take that with a pinch of salt. Quote

Justin Breeding Posted May 14 Posted May 14 The man’s recent court case and appeal were all funded by donations from Toby Young’s FSU, he earns a substantial regular income from his Substack that he gets willing suckers… sorry, volunteers to write for him, and as we speak he’s sat on his arse in a rented apartment in Arizona feeding his self-inflicted Twitter addiction, wasting time with AI, and I’d wager, a hell of a lot of masturbating. Meanwhile his new boss Rob Schneider is pacing the hallways wondering when “Glinner” is going to actually turn in a complete script for the “sure fire hit” Tenure sitcom. Done dirty by Channel 4 or not, Linehan is a vile, grifting parasite. And that’s not to even mention all the hateful stuff he splurges on social media every day, which now includes anything that he can frame as anti-Semitic. He knows where his next great payday may come from. It’s not all bad news though: the bloke clearly hates himself and what he’s become more than anyone else ever could, and he embarrasses himself on practically a daily basis on his beloved Twitter with some sort of cretinous remark/question/plea to Rowling. The sweet irony of him getting so arsehurt about his OWN show being broadcast on RTE instead of the ESC is a particular high point (well, low for him and his obliterated public reputation), but he’ll top it with more stupidity mixed with bigotry soon enough, I’d put my last pound on it. Paid Members Chris B Posted May 14 Paid Members Posted May 14 In the middle of Linehan making himself the centre of attention again, I think it's worth noting that the White House has declared "the rapid identification and neutralizatiation of violent secular political groups whose ideology is anti-American, radically pro-transgender and anarchist". Merzbow Posted May 24 Posted May 24 Yeah, Labour is a disgusting transphobic party regardless of who's eventually in charge. Fuck sake. Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted May 24 Paid Members Posted May 24 (edited) No real surprise, to be honest. The right-wing capture of the Labour party has seen Shabana Mahmood trying to make Priti Patel look like an immigration liberal, so there are no further depths of disappointment to sink to. When you examine the Labour party throughout its entire time as a party of government, and realise that, for the overwhelming majority of it, it has been a history of rank betrayal, nothing really surprises any more.
