Matt Striker randomly shouted out Channel Islands World Wrestling during a Triplemania, which I happened to be watching live at the time, and to this day I still have no idea how he even knew we existed or what led to him doing that. In the long-term it made me dislike him more, because I spent about two years having to disguise how much I fucking hated him otherwise.

Matt Striker is the worst and his worst attribute being his desperation to show how knowledgeable he is about wrestling to the point that it actively takes away from what you're watching. Two moments of which from Lucha Underground are seared in my brain:

1) Willie Mack hits a Stunner , Striker: "Willie Mack hits Cage with the inverted sitout jawbreaker otherwise known as a Stunner!" Just call it a Stunner you dickhead!

2) Brian cage rips the Lucha Underground title belt to shreds with his bare hands. Striker doesn't sell the disrespect from Cage to the title or highlight his physical strength, no. He says "cage destroying that title belt, shades of Superstar Billy Graham in 1982!" in the flattest voice possible. Absolute prick.

I think this was best known as being the start of the Test-Steph romance angle, where all the Union members got to choose their opponents one RAW.

This is great. I didn't so much forget it, as never saw it. I didn't know Godfather had done anything post Rumble, much less that he renounced his Godfathing ways a second time.

Of course he came back in 2005 right back in character. You never really shake sex addiction, I guess.

My absolute least favourite moment of commentary ever. The exact opposite of what commentary should be doing, or what that moment was trying to achieve. So obsessed with having to be the smartest guy in the room that he tells you what angle they're ripping off, rather than selling it appropriately as an unprecedented moment. 

He also went through a phase of calling the Slingblade "a Tanahashi".

Was reminded of these earlier from 2004 and 2005.  Gangrel and Viscera were. brought back by JBL in his feud against Undertaker in 2004. 
 

Similarly Vader and Goldust were brought in by Coachman in 2005 in his feud with Stone Cold(Austin ultimately pulled out of the match at Taboo Tuesday as he was supposed to lose to the Coach and was replaced by Batista)

I remember being so excited at this, I made the faction on whatever video game was in at the time (I wanna say Wrestlemania 2000?), did loads of graffiti on my school books, i genuinely thought they were going to be the cool new faction like DX and then they disappeared after like 2 weeks?

If my memory serves correct didn't Shane return and essentially just kill them? I have this image of Smackdown ending on a angry Shane face with Big Show being thrown off the ramp? Or am I mixing this up with something else?
