It’s not Jack Evans, he’s only ever been Jack Cartwheel or Jack Cartwright. His real name is Jack Summit, which would be a very handy surname in Yorkshire as it’s pronounced the same whether people remember it or not.

To be fair, they’re going to have limitations and you’re not going to improve unless you get the opportunity to try in the first place. With a show like this, I think you have to set your expectations accordingly. Nerves are going to set in, and they’ll disappear as it feels less unusual to act in segments like this. 

On the whole it was a decent show, and I thought the wrestling was good. I’m looking forward to watching the wrestlers ‘evolve’ and develop into acts that you might want to see in NXT or the main roster.

I watched it this morning.   Enjoyed it.  I used to watch LvL Up most weeks, so I'll probably watch this most weeks.  Interests me far more than LFG.  Hopefully eventually they'll be able to do it in front of proper crowds in proper venues, but we'll see.

 

Keanu Carver has future megastar written all over him.

Come on, mate, that's just not right. I don't like the term "acting" for wrestling but whatever we wanna call it, there are definitely levels to it and we should absolutley expect good convincing performances.

Agree about it being a development show, that should always be taken into account, but if you're going to work on a show filmed and aired by WWE, you're going to be judged. As long it's fair judgement and any improvement is recognised, that's absolutely fair game.

I'm only just getting my head around what this is but I'll give it a look. I like to see rough diamonds in any sport. Look forward to seeing if there are any here.

Enjoyable enough little show. Barely half an hour once you've skipped the ads and recaps. 

Didn't love the setting. I'm not big on anything I see of NXT so that with an even bigger ITV Celebrity Wrestling vibe wasn't great.

Thought Rosenberg was decent on comms. Robert Stone's voice is weird for it.

Opener was rough in a few places but I liked the ladies. Palmer has everything, athleticism, great smile, hot pants. What more do you want? Her work was decent. Grey was pretty good too and got the "not here to fuck around" character down right off. Promo work was rough but that's what they're here for.

Didn't think it was too bad. Needs work, two of the three didn't have a great deal of confidence but I agree, it has potential if that comes. Their opponents' promo was much worse. Sean Legacy is a terrible name and "Super" is a terrible catchphrase.

The terrible names were all over the show. Funny to put a face to a name in this sense though. Fucking Trill London.

Both spot on. Immediate impact from the promo and then his ring work. Looked a star in 90 seconds. Even against Trill London.

Main event was fine. Not a big fan of the working style. Hard for anyone to stand out when they're all super-athletic and going through stuff you'll see in every match. Best thing about Carver was how different he was right off the bat.

A decent start. Doubt I'll watch regularly but I'd like to see a bit of these guys and girls as they move up. I quite liked NXT 2.0 as it was a real development show. This could fill that gap.

Yeah I hate saying acting but I couldn’t think of a more appropriate term. 
 

That graphic is a nice feature. I thought the concept of the ones they did during the Rumble this year was excellent but the execution ultimately annoyed me as it was too much for too long. But I definitely think wrestling companies can and should do more changes to their presentation like this. Helps inform and as long as they aren’t there throughout the match, limited distraction.
