Also, Buster Pointdexter.

Carl Dean, the mysterious, elusive husband of Dolly Parton, has died at 82. 

Even though he didn't really make many public appearances and chose to lead a normal, private life (as a 'paving contractor'), he's still a notable figure in country music.

He and Dolly actually met on her first day in Nashville, when she was 18, and married two years later. They were together for 60 years and, by most accounts she was faithful to him for that entire time (though some dispute it) even as people like Merle Haggard were publicly declaring their love for her.

He was also somewhat responsible for Dolly writing arguably her most famous song, Jolene, as it was based on a bank teller that would flirt with Carl whenever he went into the bank. Yes, even Dolly fucking Parton got jealous when her husband was involved.
