Paid Members I Bent My Wookie Posted June 21 Paid Members Posted June 21 (edited) Spoilers from this week's AAA Spoiler Bring back Perros Del Mal is a pretty genius idea. Hector Garza being an original member and his nephews being part gives them a little more recognition in the company than they already had. Daga was always solid back in Impact Wrestling and was a final member of the group and I always thought Bronco Nima stood out more in OTM than his partner. Karmen is a bit of a wildcard but again this maybe someone they have hopes for that a little more ring time will do the world of good for. I appreciate them using legacy and history bringing the group name back rather than trying to create something new. It's instantly recognisable to Lucha fans, it's easily searchable for the history to non Lucha fans and depending on how much they care about AAA there's probably tons in the vault they could put on YouTube about the history of the group (though they'll obviously claim it started there and not CMLL). Probably less problematic than trying to make Dom into Los Gringos Locos 2.0 without bringing up Art Barr in a Google search. (edit: I see they tried but didn't really go full steam with it. That may have been a reason why). Edited June 21 by I Bent My Wookie Quote

WyattSheepMask Posted August 17 Posted August 17 I’ve had the full series on a hard drive for so long and never got round to watching it. Seen maybe about the first 10 episodes but that’s as far as I got. Quote

rollthedice Posted August 30 Posted August 30 It looks absolutely magnificent on Prime, compared to what I was watching on Daily motion a decade ago. Quote
Merzbow Posted Thursday at 05:36 PM Posted Thursday at 05:36 PM Quote Referee el Buho passed away following a wrestling match last night in Hidalgo. Buho was refereeing a match between Hijo de Fishman and the current Mascara Sagrada. Hijo de Fishman gave referee Buho a double underhook piledriver during the action. Buho never got back up. The local reports are that Buho lay on the mat unmoving for minutes before anyone checked on him, thinking he was selling. There was reportedly no ambulance or medical personnel on hand; those are required for Hidalgo shows, and this card was running a bit under the radar. When paramedics arrived, they could only confirm that Buho had passed away. The police are holding Hijo de Fishman in custody while investigating. A photo of the piledriver is circulating. Can't circulate a photo of a medic who isn't there, but that's going to be as big a deal. Fishman has been arrested too, I'll wait for more official confirmation but it's being said that the move was unplanned. It's just horrible that he was left laying there, no medical on site or anything, I hope they never get to run a show again. Quote
Cousin Jim Bob Posted Thursday at 06:24 PM Posted Thursday at 06:24 PM What that quote doesn't mention, is that the referee was 75 years old. Which makes the decision to do it even more idiotic from the wrestler. Quote
