Paid Members I Bent My Wookie Posted July 26, 2025 Paid Members Posted July 26, 2025 I don't know if its time to get Dom not wearing the bodysuit, because in regular tights he would look too much like hes cos playing Eddie, but I actually wouldn't mind him with the belt. It'd add a sense of arrogance to his persona if he is lauding over RAW as the best in all of Mexico and the truest Intercontinental champion they've had. Quote

Pedantry Corner: nope, because whilst Mexico is Latin America, it's still part of North America. Quote

I mean from a storyline perspective is Dom dumb enough to get it incorrect though? Quote
poetofthedeed Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Yes, zombie thread bump, but AAA has not had a bad episode yet and Rey de Reyes is shaping up to be a belter. Undertaker for booker of the year. Quote

A few WWE tropes have started creeping in which is understandable but annoying, however the fact it is an hour makes it a nice easy watch. Quote
Paid Members mim731 Posted April 24 Paid Members Posted April 24 Sorry to resurrect an old thread, and for linking to the Twitter cesspit but... Quote
DavidB6937 Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Is the old stuff streaming anywhere? Who owns the library? If it does come back I hope Tony doesnt own it. He cant cope with another one to juggle surely. Quote
RIDDUM_N_STYLE Posted April 24 Posted April 24 If it’s a comeback, I wonder how it’ll effect MLW since they tried to resurrect the gimmick with Azteca Underground even down to having El Jefe himself Dario Cueto running things under a different name Quote
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted April 25 Paid Members Posted April 25 I'm buzzing for this announcement. Even if it's just the original stuff coming to streaming. Quote
Olly1984 Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Not gonna lie lads, genuinely punched the air with delight when I saw that clip. Currently doing a re watch thanks to the fact that I downloaded all the seasons from archive website, about to start season 2. It's still as refreshingly brilliant as it was 11 years ago. Would be interesting how it works if it is being brought back what with the original cast all moved on but still very, very exciting news....... And King Cuerno is on the hunt for work as of last night so that's a start🤔🤔. Quote

As long as they have Dario it doesn't matter. I think a return is unlikely but if so I'll be there for it. Seasons 1-3 were incredible. Season 4 was the drizzling shits though. They never recovered from the budget cuts and losing that brilliant Boyle Heights location. Quote
Merzbow Posted April 25 Posted April 25 (edited) Who isn't linked to a top company that could be used? I'm guessing there's zero work with AAA this time around, I'd personally mark out like a kid if they got Killshot in somehow... Edited April 25 by Merzbow Quote

I wouldn’t be shocked if he did - I could see Tony Khan being absolutely fine with some of his wrestlers appearing to help establish new faces, especially if it’s in the form of what only really amounts to cameo appearances. Having said that, I’d love to see Hechicero play a significant role in a revived LU, he’d have fit perfectly in the original. Mortos is another. He’s not doing much in AEW, but he could be a real asset for LU. Quote
