Paid Members gmoney Posted December 25, 2023 Paid Members Posted December 25, 2023 So far for the shit telly: about 4 episodes of The Repair shop x2 Great British Railway Journeys x2 Midsummer Murders An episode of Downton Abbey (I don't watch this so not sure if it's representative, but I thought this was atrocious) A Christmas episode of Heartbeat I put on a Sharpe at one point that I thought would be acceptable, but I was overruled and on went The Repair Shop. We did watch One Foot in the Algarve, which is very good, and there's a Barry Humphreys thing on later. Merry Christmas everyone! Quote

It’s been a tough year at times (I’m dealing with an extremely painful health problem which is never nice, and I also lost my wonderful dog) - but this place has given me fantastic escapism when I’ve needed it. I rang again at 7pm and my Grandad was up in his chair and having a bit of food and water after I told my Gran I’d come round and bollock him and my Brother went round and did the same! Kitchen is done now so I’ll get all my gear out and get some photos up tomorrow. I’m sure we’ll have an arty farty coffee thread on here somewhere and if not I’ll make one. I’m finally sat down and wrecking all the kids who got COD for Xmas. I haven’t bought one since Cold War on the PS4 so I’m a little rusty! Hope you’ve all had a grand day. Quote

Linda going straight to the stab to death option is very on point. Why try and bash him on the head a bit first when you can skewer the guy. My suspension of disbelief had already ended when I saw that Kurt from Teachers was their top heel and was able to overpower his D-Bol ridden son. Quote
