Have you seen Toploader have been booked to play at the Labour Party conference? Their agent must be incredibly silver tongued.

Or that Tory and labour preferences are so interchangeable.

I like the idea that Starmer personally chooses the entertainment at Conference like he's organising his birthday.  Flicking through his 90s CD collection "Supergrass, can we get them?  What about James, are they still together?"

You're lucky we didn't end up with Hootie and the Blowfish given his age.

I'm surprised he didn't see what Professor Brian Cox was up to so he could go full on 1997 Blair with his attitude.

Books Toploader, supports Arsenal... God Starmer is SUCH a cunt.

So the last two Labour leaders have been Arsenal supporters. Bet you're praying for Lammy to get the leadership next.

that could have been something a lot more sinister than glitter. Very poor job by security there.

Could it have been? What do you know about the security of the event to be able to confidently claim that? For example there's less reason for super tight stage security if they are absolutely certain there's no weapons in the room.

Fair point. Just seems somewhat lax that someone could reach the speaker so easily. Even if they were certain there was no weapons, he still could've been assaulted.

Before the speech the Police did an entire sweep of the venue in preparation. I assume they thought nothing of the glitter
