I don't think there's many wrestlers that could come out the other side of that run looking good. Like a lot of guys of his era, I think timing worked against him. There was no hurry to push him to the top when they had Austin and Rock around, and by the time they were gone, he had too much midcard stink on him to be heated back up to that level, and wasn't as politically well-positioned as someone like Bradshaw was for a complete repackage. This has just reminded me that TNA did a 'Bobby Roode is beating up Traci Brooks' storyline, and I think Roode finally got his comeuppance from Jim Cornette? I may have that wrong but it's TNA so I'm probably right. It's a testament to how good Roode and Beer Money were that he was able to come out the other side of a storyline like that to become one of TNA's best ever homegrown stars. Quote

I think Vince just asked him "how would you feel about cutting your hair?" and Kazarian said something along the lines of "I'd rather keep it" and that was apparently enough for Vince to immediately fire him.
