You don’t get many chances against this City team, you practically have to be flawless and I don’t think Arsenal will get a better chance than this for a few years. Throw Declan Rice in the line up and they might go some way though.

Arsenal are probably one of the best placed teams to challenge Man City. Youngest team and youngest manager. 3-4 players away from having a great squad and it looks like they're going balls out this summer for it. They're a year ahead of schedule. If they can learn from losing it then it will stand them in good stead going forward. I don't get the United thing. They seem utterly the same as always to me. Get turned over constantly by anyone decent away. They're fortunate Liverpool have been pretty crap.

City are just relentless. Arsenal basically had to win every single game with the pace that lot are setting. They're a team that averages 94 points the last 5 or so years. That isn't normal (and shouldn't be treated as such) Arsenal could have won those 3 games they drew and still been in a tenuous situation as City didn't drop any points. The fact is, the only team that can actually bottle the league is Man City. Their resources mean as much.

Ha I'll take, but it is interesting to see just how insane City are. Doesn't really bode well for competition in the league going forward

Well if they actually get fucked for all that cheating they’ve been caught doing and Pep fucks off in a bit they’ll just be another insanely rich club of which there are many in the league.

Perhaps, but no doubt City winning 5 out of 6 with insane points totals is a very rare and I think worrying thing. Even Chelsea with the money under Roman, there was still a competitive league. I fail to see how anyone can challenge City without them having an off season. 2 full sides is unlike anything we've seen

I support a team that finished runners up with 97 points, I’m aware how hard it is to beat them but a lengthy transfer ban and their world class manager walking away should give us a couple of years to catch up. The biggest problem with City outside of the cheating is that they’re bloody good at all the other stuff.

04/05 they won it by 12 and 05/06 they won it by 8. If it wasn't for Ferguson building another amazing United team, they would've dominated for years I reckon.

Basically Fergie is the best.

Today there are two Vincent Tan Is A Cunt stories in the press. This is the more egregious one.

Ivan Toney gets 8 month for betting. Presumably he will appeal.

Bet he loses.

Biggest game of the year tonight. City in the biggest semi final, all level after the first leg so it’s winner takes all for that place in the most glamorous, lucrative final in European football.

And I think Man City are playing as well.
