Paid Members Fatty Facesitter Posted May 10, 2023 Paid Members Posted May 10, 2023 Millwall fans created one of my favourite chants towards my own team - "I can't read, I can't write, I drive a tractor, I'm a Norwich City fan, and I'm a fucking wanker!" Always gets a round of applause from our own terraces when they come to visit.

Always gets a round of applause from our own terraces when they come to visit. Probably a good thread idea for chants. My favourite was years back when Spurs played Brighton and of course a "Does your boyfriend know you're here?" chant went up (back in the days when you could get away with some lighthearted homophobia, probably get cancelled by the 'wokies' these days ???) And the Brighton fans retorted with "You're too ugly to be gay" which was lovely stuff. Simple but funny, as the best ones should be.
Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted May 10, 2023 Paid Members Posted May 10, 2023 First Millwall game I went to @Fatty Facesitter was a 4-1 defeat away at Norwich in the 1986 League cup. Millwall playing that notorious speedster Mark Falco on the wing.

Mr_Danger Posted May 11, 2023 Posted May 11, 2023 Gotta be worth a spot in the Europa conference league at least. Shit take Liverpools spot if you want.

The Curious Orange Posted May 11, 2023 Posted May 11, 2023 I am not sure I would have chosen this photo when they talk about the seminar given to the first team squad though.

Members SuperBacon Posted May 11, 2023 Members Posted May 11, 2023 Great news for fellow Fergie nerds, a new documentary on Aberdeen* airs tonight and is already available to watch now. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001lvms Accompanying article: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/may/10/alex-ferguson-aberdeen-real-madrid-1983-final-40-years-on *Posting here as I'm not slumming it in the Scottish thread.
Members SuperBacon Posted May 13, 2023 Members Posted May 13, 2023 A brilliant playoff final, with the best type of drama, and ultimately a deserved promotion. John Bostock having the chance to send County back up to the football league, deciding to panenka it and hitting the bar was some moment. Once Spurs, always Spurs.
