Keith Houchen
I’ve only just seen this, I’m sure many have already seen it, but Evra is the absolute king shit isn’t he? What a triumph he is!
SuperBacon
Henry's reaction when he says "shit" 😆 Evra has such unhinged energy. He'd be great to spend the day with.
Awards Moderator Frankie Crisp Posted May 21, 2023 Awards Moderator Share Posted May 21, 2023 I know the season isn’t over, but it’s been impossible for me to avoid the Firmino posts and tributes from locals over the last 24 hours. You know what, I’m made up. I’m very territorial over my football fandom so it’s rare that many players break into my heart if they’re not Palace. But bloody hell, Bobby. I’m gutted to see him go. He’s absolutely one of the most wonderful, joyous, talented and preposterous footballers I’ve ever seen. The goals, the touch, the fakes, the football brain - faster than any other in the league during his time - and that fucking smile. Football is absolutely toxic and tribal most of the time, so it’s a rarity when we see a player of that quality to love even if they play for another team. Si Señor, indeed. SuperBacon
8I'm not saying he was anywhere near his level, but similarly Lucas Mouras videos he put out this week reduced me to tears, and it's a shame he waved goodbye to a half empty stadium yesterday. Football is a stupid little game, most of the clubs we follow have very little success (LOLZ!!!) and the majority of players just play for your club as they've offered the most money, so all you really ask for is that sometimes a player will feel the badge/shirt/club just as much as the fans do. And just like my beautiful goth prince Erik before him, Lucas did feel it. He was properly COYS and I wish him all the best. He provided me with my most joyous moment supporting these pricks and I'll always love him for that. "But what about his love of Bolsanaro?" ....

I know Cov have this Phoenix rising thing about them, and of course personal bias would love to see them in the top flight, but I think it’s downplayed how badly Luton were treated by the powers that be and they were effectively kicked out of the the league via a 30 point deduction. Their resurgence is marvellous too.
Paid Members air_raid Posted May 24, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted May 24, 2023 Casual reminder for any Toffees that (depending on Leicester too), a draw with Bournemouth won't be enough if Leeds beat Spurs by four goals to reverse the goal difference. So you really need to win, because my lot will definitely be on holiday in their heads and get utterly murdered at Elland Road.

James McArthur is leaving Palace at the end of the season after 9 years. Sometimes a bit of perspective is needed; sod that shiny-toothed, no-look berk Firmino, NOW I'm gutted. I might have to be escorted off the property on Sunday.
