Bill Hader on Sexy Beast has made me laugh a lot.

Is this from the podcast he did with Paul Giamatti? If it's the one I'm thinking of, he also produced this beauty of an impression of Oliver Reed that I watch at least once a week to this day.

If you can ignore the wrong'un in the thumbnail (he's only in it for the blink of an eye), Hader and Fred Armisen also do a brilliant send up with love of British movies in this SNL sketch:

Yes I think it is. I saw that earlier as well and it's just so good. Hader is effortlessly funny isn't he? I hope he's a good lad, he seems nice.

Edit: it's from a Conan interview.

Yesterday my downstairs toilet starting leaking water into the bowel at the back.

UKFF, still taking "shitting on the toilet backwards" to whole new levels.

Any nice plans or just enjoying not working?

Not a fat lot, it's going to be very chilled. I'm planning on easing myself back into the gym but other than that it'll be spent watching wrestling and shitty 80s slasher films. Heaven!

It's most probably psychosomatic, but I stepped out into the back garden this morning, took a big, deep lungful of air...and the scent of it told me autumn is arriving.

My favourite season.

Happened a bit later this year - was feeling a bit bereft - but that scent is back, finally. That hint of petrichor and mulch.

Stood in the garden for several minutes, just taking big breaths. Looking forward to when it really kicks in.

I love Autumn too. I can't wait for the walks in the woods with my kids. My three year old is really noticing all the changes now too so it's amazing seeing it all through his eyes

Is this the right thread to stick this in? Dunno.

Anyway, a boozer by ours (the only boozer to be in two postcodes), has a wall of people who’ve had a pint in here. It’s absolutely mental.

Jimmy Corkhill and Barbra Streisand on the same wall. Sound.

I’m more taken aback by the Ronnie Whelan and Kid Rock combo to be honest. That is a mad collection of people.
