It's during the post-Crash TV era when, for some fucking reason, they were still instructed to fill every bit of dead air. So every segment is full of Cole filling in with absolute nonsense. I think for me, it's because he and Tazz gelled well and it made Cole less meek and brought a little bit out of him. Quote

Despite what a counterproductive mess it is overall, you could at least tell that one of the end goals of Bloodline 2000 was setting Jacob Fatu up to do the Indentured servitude angle, eventually standing up for himself against Roman. However, watching this show, Jacob almost felt like the Randy Orton to Solo Sikoa’s Batista in Evolution. You could sense they’ve decided they’ve backed the wrong horse and have already changed their mind. Solo has clearly made enough people laugh these last few weeks that he’s now the project rather than Jacob. Not that it matters. Either way, the whole thing is destined to fail due to what an absolute mess the babyface/heel dynamics are. Roman’s obviously the worst for it, but they’re all at it to some degree. On this very show, Jey Uso, heel Mob Goon, fighting his brother to force him to join the Evil Murder Cult, still running his entrance music back for the big pop? What are we doing, lads? I’m reminded of this God Awful T-shirt Cody had in AEW. The Bloodline 2000 should release their own version of this. It’s a very dangerous game letting on that you’re naturally funny in WWE. It never goes well. Rather than giving you more freedom, it usually results in them writing their type of comedy for you, killing you dead immediately. I predict someone is already at the Joke Shop looking for costumes and props for our new Banter King, Solo Sikoa. I give it three weeks before he has a plastic gun and a PEW PEW sound effect at the start of his entrance. Bonus Raw thoughts… As much as I like this Oba Femi/Bron Breakker thing, with hopes that they’re studying the Braun Strowman/Bronson Reed matches for inspiration, my Dickhead Leech Senses are tingling. Heyman’s going to end up managing Oba Femi, isn’t he? Man’s worse than Jericho for always finding something to hang on to. This Luchador Tournament always felt out of place in WWE. Even with how over Penta is, you could hear a pin drop during that match with Laredo Kid. These poor lads busting out 450 splashes to silence. What is this, Velocity? This is Monday Night Raw, lads. Not AEW Grand Slam Mexico. I couldn’t fathom the whole tournament being this. Lads that aren’t over risking life and limb to little to no reaction. Then L.A. Knight mentioned wanting to be in the tournament, and now I think I see the direction. One of these AAA lads is going to be mysteriously attacked backstage and a new Luchador is going to take their place. It’s like, we all saw the Attitude Era mate, you don’t need to make it your whole personality. however. I also accept that sometimes stuff I don’t get is still good for some others. All that is to say that I really didn’t expect to say “Solo Sikoa is a highlight of Raw” in 2026. Feels like Roman’s alignment as a heel has finally caught up to everything he’s actually been doing. Shame it’s come at the cost of literally just doing the Bloodline again, again. Quote
