I'm sure it won't go that way in the end but it'd be disastrous for both of them Then again, if Heyman's still involved in creative the whole thing will be so that the build to Oba Vs Reigns at Mania will revolve around who's Heyman's favourite I'm not convinced it'll be Oba v Roman at Mania. I think it might be Roman v Cody 3 and Oba beating the other champion. Quote

Yeah suppose they might want to give Reigns his win back, could even be a good way to turn Cody If Punk is still WWE champion at Mania then I hope to Christ he's turned by then, him and Oba spending two months building up a babyface match would be brutal Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted August 4 Paid Members Posted August 4 Always had a soft spot for Big Cass, and fair play to him for turning his life around and making it back to WWE, but I’m not convinced a singles push as a top heel is the right call. Nostalgia tag run with Enze made all the sense in the world, but between him coming in solo and Baron Corbin already being US Champion, it does appear that relying on these lanky blokes when times are hard is yet another Vince-ism Triple H has inherited. Lars Sullivan to be back by Survivor Series. Quote

Coincidentally it's been good recently to see him in such alright shape for a big man at his age now. He didn't take too many bumps over the years which probably helped, but he looks to have come out of wrestling fairly healthy and happy which is good to see. Especially for the drug use around that time. Didn't realise he had such a long Football career before hand as well so coming out of that and wrestling with fairly good cognition is nice to see. The King of Old School Posted August 4 Author Posted August 4 (edited) Big Cass to take the IC title from Gable fairly soon is my guess. Breaker/Oba seems a good direction to keep Oba busy. What's the next PPV? Can't see anything listed between Summerslam and MITB in October which seems odd. Last couple of years they have done a European show at the end of August. I have a soft spot for Big Cass also, but poor bloke just looks like an enforcer for someone else. It won't happen, but I thought it'd be fun if LA Knight continues to needle Roman about needing the Bloodline, goads him into a stipulation banning them from ringside... and then Big Cass helps Knight win the title for a short little run, before order is restored to the universe. I don't like LA Knight, but he's basically middle aged Enzo anyway. Quote

They seem to be making a bit of a deal about Sunday Nights Main Event as a one off, so could see them putting a Women's title match there, maybe the IC or US title as well. Plus based off the end of last night's show, I expect a fair few people to be involved in AAA Triplemania and World's Collide. Quote

No one gets over on his watch when he's got a mic in his hands. I dunno, I thought Knight held his own on the mic, he had the comeback and final word, and I think he delivered it well. I think the main thing holding him back at the moment is his look for me, I just don't buy him as a main event in that gear with those silly shades. Personal opinion though. Quote

He rebounded well, within the confines of 'this is a scripted show and this is the response he's been alotted in the time he's been alotted'. But that watch diatribe, where it felt like - again - Roman just decided to debase someones entire character was wild. And all people will remember. He is absolutely ruthless these days. Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted August 4 Posted August 4 Big Cass returning to his gimmick like he never evolved in eight years is a choice. I was half expecting him to ask where Daniel Bryan is. I guess Enzo Amore isn't coming in then? Quote

Honestly, they should have done the serious vignette and then done the Brodus Clay switch. Quote
