Did they turn Roman already?? I’m not watching at the minute and this reads dumb as fuck for two babyfaces fighting.

They haven't 'turned' anyone which is the biggest issue about all this Bloodline stuff. It makes no sense at all. Are the Usos faces? Is Jacob? Surely LA Knight is a face no? I have NO idea.

Big Rome doesn’t concern himself with babyface/heel divides in 2026.

In the space of one promo, he can flip flop between babyface and heel just as quickly as he can flip flop between working within the parameters of the fictional storyline and then dropping a bunch of work shoot burns.

I’m convinced it’s a direct reaction to the years under Vince, when he had to eat so much shit. Now that he’s cracked the code and made it work, fuck everyone else. He’s going to swing his dick and undermine everyone else at all costs. Hogan Reigns.

It’s wild how counterproductive he’s become. You’ve got Jacob Fatu trying to do the Indentured servitude angle, where we’re supposed to be feel sympathy for him being forced to do Roman’s bidding, but then Roman is out there playing cool as fuck babyface this week. Sorry, Jacob. No time to pity you or want to see you stand up for yourself. I’m too busy throwing up the ones for our Tribal Chief.

Similarly, you’ve got poor Seth sent out there to deliver twenty minutes of exposition, completely dying on his arse, droning on about how Seth turned on The Shield because he recognised Roman was the Chosen One. Does Roman try and help him along the following week? Does he bollocks! Far more fun to mog him and completely undermine the story they’re trying to tell.

”You bored us all to sleep last week.”

”I’m the chosen one? Your work daddy Triple H is damn near running this joint.”

A word of warning to anyone moving into the orbit of Roman Reigns in 2026.

I was thinking about the Big Cass teaser vignettes. They're 100% doing the rug pull of him coming out all serious, and then Enzo's music hitting and him following shortly after as a surprise "moment" with them hitting their old routine aren't they?

My general expression not following Raw but seeing thumbnails of what they've done with Lyra:

Badda bing Badda boom, most obvious call in the room, and you can't teach that.

Same company re-signed Baron Corbin and rather than bring him back as a Danhausen zombie they inserted him into the United States Title division as a credible contender.

I wouldn’t put it past them at all to bring Big Cass in for a doomed singles run, rather than the obvious, more likely to succeed, nostalgia tag run with Enzo.

It’s what they do.

Maybe they have changed their mind on bringing back Enzo or will bring him back later on. They always wanted to push Big Cass as a singles star.

Big Cass would be a good bodyguard for a guy like Finn Balor if he was still heel.

Big Cass vs Oba Femi would be a good, quick 5 minutes big man match.

THATS THE SHIELD CHAIR

Hopefully this is the last time they reference that. I have some hope with there seemingly being some finality in the never-ending Rollins/Reigns feud being teased. It's been done to death now. So it'll probably be brought up again later in the year.

I’m probably just in a particularly grumpy mood today, but that Joe Hendry/Danhausen segment is one of the worst things I’ve seen in wrestling for quite some time. WWE does not seem to have learned that the kind of comedy Vince McMahon was into is not widely loved. Absolutely horrendous stuff.

I'm almost at a point of being beyond criticising the Danhausen stuff.

They're so all in on it, giving it such daylight, that there has to be an audience for it beyond what you see online. There has to be millions of people watching, enjoying, buying tickets and shirts, calling Netflix and saying its the reason they subscribe. There must be advertisers calling Nick Khan and saying 'yes we'll give you money but only if Danhausen has bigger, longer, more preposterous segments.'

Because, if not? Fucking hellfire.

It's an embarrassment. I presume the only reason they don't get absolutely panned every week is that no fucker watches it anymore.
