One for the "This is cinema" brigade. I don't mind it. I think intros are seperate to the storytelling of the show, so I think they have some leeway to introduce people to the concept of WWE. If however the commentators introduce people once the show starts like "Bah God, here comes CM Punk the babyface.. well actually he's more of a tweener" then I won't be happy. But opening up a new era from the perspective of the company rather than the in-story participants makes sense. It'd be jarring to start with kayfabe, if they think there's a chance that a load of new people are joining. Quote

My expectations for tonight and trying to get me invested again are low after thinking Saturday Nights Main Event was going to be a big deal. Hopefully that will help if it does deliver. Quote

As Rick says, the clips were excellent but the script and narration a bit more iffy. Would have been better if they'd just repurposed this for Netflix UK.
