It was a so-so show. I don’t think Seth vs Punk lived up to the hype they created at all.

Best bit was Hogan getting booed out the building. He definitely tried to turn it around with the namedropping Andre and Macho and “you’re my best tag team partner” but the crowd had none of it. Brilliant stuff.

I’m more interested to see a show when 1/3 of it isn’t showing celebs in the crowd and pandering to executives.

It was on there at 6.30 when I had a quick look, not sure if it's downloadable yet though

My live stream restarted at the end of the show so I can only assume from that it went on demand right away.

Much like everyone else, it was a decent enough show but probably didn’t live up to our hype. I can imagine probably liking it if I hadn’t tuned into wrestling in years which is likely the audience that was aimed for.

Thought Punk and Rollins had a belter. Punk made a point of grabbing the ref to tell Seth something at the end and felt it rushed off the air a bit - not sure if those items were related but I expected a bit more from the ending. Even if it was just more of a celebratory moment, it seemed to just end out of nowhere.

Do they need to do that now? I know they'll obviously still have a format but there's no air time as such, is there? So no need to rush a finish for the sake of a minute or two. Unless it's force of habit.

I thought this a pretty dull show, couple of good matches aside. I think I was expecting more angles and fun stuff, rather than roll calls of celebrities.

This is how I felt. I’ve really enjoyed Triple H’s WWE, but if you’re going to try to hook in new fans, I’m not sure the way to do it is a masturbatory celebration of being on Netflix. If I were a new viewer, I don’t think I’d feel the need to tune in next week, even if I enjoyed myself.

I did enjoy Hogan getting booed though, in the current climate it certainly wasn’t a given, so it was nice to see him get the reception he deserved.

It was a shame that we didn’t get Penta’s debut this week, but I can understand them worrying he’d get lost in the shuffle.

As far as Cena’s quest for a world title goes, I’d like to see him lose the Rumble, lose at Elimination Chamber then treat MITB as his final opportunity for a title shot. He wins that, states his desire to go out on top, and does an RVD by giving advance notice of his title shot; making his final match his opportunity to win his last title.

Well that show was shite. WWE is creeping back to pre 2022, isn't it? Oh well. Was fun while it lasted.

I mean, it’s one show. If every Raw and Smackdown from now on is a tedious panderfest, then you’d be justified in saying this - but I don’t think it’s time to do that just yet. It was a boring show, though - and they definitely squandered an opportunity to attract a new audience.

I have hope that it won't be a Netflix love fest but meh. The Rock clearly wanting to be a babyface was utterly lame. No Penta, No big implications for the future. Just a really lame self contained show.

Highlight of the show for me, hands down. I might be hoping but I'm sure he looked a bit flustered which makes it even better. He must have thought he'd be getting guaranteed cheers.

Twitter/ Facebook comments this morning are full of "The fans are woke" or "It's disrespectful to boo a legend because of his politics". What, being a racist cunt and all around walking turd?

I don’t believe so. I more wondered if there had been some sort of injury putting paid to any post match physicality.

Not one to stick up for them, personally, but it seems from the outside that what was clearly advertised for this show was two big matches blowing off long-term feuds that will allow them to move on to Punk/Roman or whatever they're up to next. Did you not think that was clear?

All the self-congratulatory bullshit is to be expected too. I can see why you'd hate wasting your time on it but there's no way that wasn't going to happen.

Was gonna stay up for the show but decided against at the last minute.

Skimmed through it this morning and my favourite part of the show was probably the Cena promo, I really hope he wins the Rumble now after that.

For me, it was more the quantity of it. It’s all well and good to say ‘it’s a big deal for WWE to be on Netflix’, but at some point, they had to show why it was a big deal that Netflix has WWE, and I’m not sure they succeeded in that. Yes, they rolled out the stars - but I’m not sure they managed to show how exciting their product is right now, or to present a gripping show that made you want to watch next week.
