Paid Members Carbomb Posted October 22, 2022 Paid Members Posted October 22, 2022 Good, good. The more their electorate pull themselves apart over this kind of moronism, the better chance we have of getting them out. Quote

Said it all along. A massive portion of the British electorate are Jerry from Lowestoft. Sunak and Johnson are going to face off to be PM as they will be the only ones to amass 100+ backing MPs and the Tory members will vote that bumbling cunt back in. And because the past several weeks have been such a circus, everyone will have forgotten how damaging Johnson was and the Tories will have a huge boost in the polls. Come January 2025, he will lead them to another General Election win and we will have at least another 5 years of this shitshow. Fuck me, this is massively depressing. Mr_Danger Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Gonna put my neck on the line here and say Boris Johnson won’t be the Prime Minister come January 2025. January 2023 would be fairly surprising at this rate. Quote
The King Of Swing Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Be interesting to see how many of the "never Johnson" cunts actually back it up and walk if he gets back in. Not many would be my guess. Quote
Paid Members chokeout Posted October 22, 2022 Paid Members Posted October 22, 2022 (edited) In a perfect world Sunak walks on and does this, still furious he lost to Truss. Edited October 22, 2022 by chokeout Quote
Paid Members Nexus Posted October 23, 2022 Paid Members Posted October 23, 2022 This gives him the ability to be like "look, I'm a unifier really", and still claim he had 100+ supporters, but allows him to save face. Fucking prick. Quote
Chili Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 I mean, it's that bad even HE doesn't want to pop back in? Quote
Paid Members PunkStep Posted October 23, 2022 Paid Members Posted October 23, 2022 He 100% does though, hence why he cut short his THIRD holiday abroad since he resigned. He either doesn't have 100 MPs backing him, or he's been advised by certain allies that it's not the right moment- several weeks after he fucked off in the first place. Thank fuck. I mean, there is still going to be another Tory in charge instead for 2 years so it's still shit, but it's not him. Quote
Paid Members Fatty Facesitter Posted October 23, 2022 Paid Members Posted October 23, 2022 Had Boris (sorry Keith) been voted back in, London would have been crammed with protests and goodness knows what else. Riots/looting, etc. ...It's the nicest place to live at the best of times, but still. Quote
Keith Houchen Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 I’d like to think journalists will ask him to name the 102 who he claims backed him, but they won’t. They were too busy telling us hours ago he had the backing when they were obviously regurgitating his bullshit so other tories wouldn’t want to look like they were backing the wrong horse. With any luck, he’ll either fuck off now or get voted out at the next election and then fuck off for good. Quote
Paid Members PunkStep Posted October 23, 2022 Paid Members Posted October 23, 2022 Well BBC had the number at 57 last time I knew (a couple of hours ago?) and Sunak's camp asked him to verify the claims that he had over 100 backers. You'd think the amount of MPs that left their roles and made it vocal that he should leave wouldn't back him so soon, but who knows with these cunts. According to the recent polls he is set to lose his seat. I really hope that happens at the next GE. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted October 23, 2022 Members Posted October 23, 2022 Be the first time he has pulled out!!! Waheeeeeeeey. #MockTheWeek #TheLastLeg Quote
Guest Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 Whether he's got 100 backers or not, "I could if I wanted to, I just choose not to" makes perfect sense as the type of unofficial victory he'd claim if he's not 100% certain he'd win the overall contest. We may hear the very same from Mar-a-Lago soon enough. Quote

This ties in with what I was saying before. Not necessarily that he's got it right this time, but, given his MO before, he might be still trying to get back in by sitting out until the clamour for him gets loud enough. It's probably not the case, but I really hope that that's what he was planning, then he goes and loses his MP seat, and it all blows up in his smug, bloated face. Quote
Paid Members Dead Mike Posted October 23, 2022 Paid Members Posted October 23, 2022 Too much work, too much accountability, too much opposition, no easy rides....fuck that noise. Quote
