She's the perfect Conservative.  Removing the all the privilege that got her to where she is, as fast as possible.  Pulling up the drawbridge to benefit herself.  

The one silver lining in all this is that this sort of negative, culture war right wing bullshit, imported from the US, just isn't that popular over here.  It appeals to a particular demographic, and they can be very vocal, but it's not an election winner.

It's all they have left. This was predicted ages ago. I thought she'd try reinstating the death penalty to force the opposition to be seen as 'sticking up for murderers and nonces' but I guess they've still got that in their locker. We've still got nearly a year and a half before an election.

You don't need to make any predictions, when they openly admit that's what they're doing.

On Politics Live today, they were talking about Laurence Fox getting suspended from GB News. Some Tory MP or other said with a straight face, “GB News has a diverse roster, from Michael Portillo to Lee Anderson” and it reminded me of Alan Partridge at the Brits (I think) saying how he loved all kinds of music, from Chris Rea through to Sting. Not the Prodigy though, that’s just noise. 
 

Thankfully, the Tory was laughed at by everyone else.
