I haven't seen the show yet, so might be missing some context, but I don't get what the joke's supposed to be? Just sounds so random.

Owens is overweight I guess? Why not just call him fat. Then again, Owens is in great shape at the moment so it fails on every level

Just had a google to see what the general vibe was after what I thought was a truly terrible show, capped by Punk being an idiot, and it turns out Brandi Rhodes had surgery for stage 4 endometriosis. Hope Cody spikes Phil's juice. His new, ahem, wellness regime has turned him full meathead.

Who is the heel? That's my biggest issue with Punk/Owens. I don't want the insider references, just a proper aligned feud with relatively defined roles. I don't get why that's such a stretch.

I get what you mean, and it's a fair point, but I just hope for a bit more clarity from the main event over the midcard on that sort of thing.

A bit of punny lingus like "I called out Oba Femi and got overrated instead" might have been borderline passable (at least "over" almost sounds like "Oba"). Absolute dogshit dialogue.

I thought this, 'Oba Weight' (or 'oba' as 'over' anything) is rubbish... but is at least a joke, and in keeping with the feud.

Some of the mental gymnastics online from CM Punk fans have been insane. I saw claims that he was raising awareness of endometriosis by mentioning it. I’ve also seen people suggesting he misspoke, as if that’s something you accidentally say.

Or maybe it’s a nonsense insult from a washed, creepy oddball.

CM Punk is a corpse in a CM Punk mascot costume, I cannot see a single benefit of making this into a worked shoot when even the most despicable cunt on earth could bounce him around the room for hours on basically anything he's done since he fucked off from RAW years ago. Is KO just supposed to not lapse into some Don Logan diatribe about how this boring, mad looking rich man cunt just isn't CM Punk any more? does he just ignore it the whole time until the match happens?
