DavidB6937 Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Punk/Owens was a really good start. Their energy and dynamic feels really fresh and not nearly as awkward as some other feuds lately. It didnt descend into shooty bollocks territory nearly as much as it couldve done. I thought they did a solid job of towing the line there and keeping it interesting without drowning in it. Not to say they wont descend into it more but KO is usually pretty decent at this stuff so I'd hope his input would be to keep it quite grounded and personal but without getting bogged down too much in the detail. It doesnt need it. A show that starts with Kevin Owens and finishes with Tatum Paxley? Best Saturday morning ever. Quote

Paid Members I Bent My Wookie Posted August 8 Paid Members Posted August 8 I mentioned SmackDown was looking great again. And then they closed the show with Tatum Paxley. It's done. UKFF Best Wrestling TV Show doesn't even need nominations this year. It's a certified winner. Less Ricky Saints though. Quote
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted August 8 Paid Members Posted August 8 Is KENTA still on the books? Do they call up whatever EVIL is called now? Is Kushida still there? Some kind of WWE version of CHAOS to take on the WWE Guerrillas of Destiny or Meng's Family Tree or whatever they're called now? Quote

Given that he’s yet to surface and that Nakaru/EVIL has only been in NXT, I’d have to imagine he’s a possibility. Given that it’s WWE, odds are that it will be another Japanese wrestler, with Solo Sikoa being an outside shout simply because of his connection with the MFT group. EDIT: Actually, given that he didn’t turn up with Cass, is there any chance they’d attempt another Boogs-like pairing and team him up with Enzo Amore?? Edited August 8 by RedTwoster Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Enzo with Nakamura would be morbidly interesting. But why would you bring Cass back, bring Enzo back but don't pair them? This company is unbelievably stupid. Quote

The KO Punk program so far is pretty good. Quote
Paid Members I Bent My Wookie Posted August 8 Paid Members Posted August 8 I see it being Hiromu who'll go alongside Nakamura but only him. After the MFTs released/fired half the stable unless they bring back Tonga Loa because he's Hakus son, I don't see whatever feud may happen will have a numbers disadvantage for the Sons of Haku. Apart from Punk yelling at him in a ROH lockerroom 20 years ago and Punk throwing a wobbly that him and Sami Zayn had pizza with Colt Cabana once what history between them is there? Quote

There's EVIL/Naraku, NOAH's Ulka Sasaki (although he is on excursion and only worked NXT live events so far) and Hiromu Takahashi has been rumoured to be on his way so a Japanese faction is viable. In other news, Blake Monroe has still not wrestled on the show. Quote
