Paid Members Supremo Posted May 18 Paid Members Posted May 18 (edited) Some wrestlers gift each other gold watches after big matches. It would seem after giving Nakamura his first good match in about seven years, AJ Styles also gifted him a box of his favourite conditioner. L’Oréal? Because Nak’s worth it. Bang average Smackers, although they have hooked me with another shitty mystery. Who is Danhausen resurrecting in his lab?! Annoyingly, we could only see the bottom half, so couldn’t confirm if it was HBK’s chin, but it looks like a big lad. Strowman-Hausen? Omos-hausen? I saw reports that Baron Corbin might be coming back in. Corbin-hausen has got to be the funniest, shittest reveal possible. Think of all the talent they’ve sacked off, only to bring back fucking Baron Corbin. My only assumption is Corbin must be paying them to be employed there. Edited May 18 by Supremo Quote

Paid Members Supremo Posted May 18 Paid Members Posted May 18 (edited) All will be forgiven if Danhausen resurrects Bum Ass Corbin. One of the few truly great things from the Vince-definitely-has-dementia years. So of course he abandoned it after about three weeks. Edited May 18 by Supremo Quote
d-d-d-dAz Posted May 18 Posted May 18 Karrion Kross-Hausen. No way Hunter isn't getting spooky pangs, having had to sack Black (again). Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted May 23 Paid Members Posted May 23 “Whatever happened to Mariah May?” Well, the bizarre way WWE block and shoot everything like it’s in 2D made it look like she developed the ability to instantly morph into Nia Jax when out of shot, like the kid in, “Woof,” who could turn into a dog. Chili Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Is she putting on a weird transatlantic accent, or has that been something she does as Blake Monroe as I've seen skant footage of her post beginning her lifetime of mediocrity. Quote
Paid Members RedTwoster Posted May 23 Paid Members Posted May 23 It’s eye-rolling how WWE seems to be defaulting to ‘mean girl’ heels again with female wrestlers. There’s no reason not to have the same kind of character diversity as you get with male wrestlers. Given the wealth of riches in both WWE and AEW when it comes to female wrestlers, it’s pretty outrageous that women’s wrestling in the two major companies has the level of prominence that it does at the moment. Agree 100% The matches are generally good but have to turn off or forward any promo/back stage segments because its all so cringe. Didn't realise that Tiffany was doing any open challenge thing with the US belt until I watched this show this morning. Open challenges are the most boring, lazy thing they keep reverting back to for some reason. Liking Sami Zayn's slow character change again though, guessing we'll get a proper programme with him and Cody throughout the summer. Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted May 23 Posted May 23 I wouldn't hate Gunther winning the title with help from Zayn and Cody and Sami have a blood feud without the title. Not every feud has to have the belt Quote
Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted May 23 Paid Members Posted May 23 I don't know if it's been mentioned in the Biggest Downgrade thread but Mariah May to Blake Monroe is one hell of a downgrade. It still has time to turn around but going from a main event feud with Toni Storm to doing fuck all in NXT and Smacky-D is going to take some recovery. Quote

Agreed. My only 'but..." to that statement is that Blake Monroe was this "mean girl" gimmick in NXT but exposed a psychotic side when she lost or was provoked. It was never fully exploited but was definitely something that I thought was a cool twist on the typical "mean girl" stuff. Hopefully that is something they bring back on the main roster as generic "mean girl" is definitely an eye-roller. Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted May 29 Paid Members Posted May 29 Lil Yachty is a proper, successful musician, isn’t he? The most basic of research (Wikipedia and Spotify) suggests as much. Surely he’s got better things to do than make the towns as Trick Williams’ manager? Borderline tragic. Like Jonathan Taylor Thomas or Salt-N-Pepa still knocking about on Raw months after Wrestlemania 11. Quote
