I’d been a bit down on Smackdown recently, but the reformation of the original Bloodline has pulled me right back in. Sami Zayn rejoining the group is going to be one heck of a moment - and I really hope it’s not something they pull the trigger on at Crown Jewel. SS is in Montreal isn't it? Saying that, the second biggest pop for Samo outside of his hometown has been in Saudi. Quote

Yeah, you would like to think that Bloodline Wolfpac wins at Crown Jewel due to it being 4 on 3 all the time and that leading for Roman and Co realising they need help from one more man to even the odds. If Bloodline Original wins at Crown Jewel then there's no point getting Sami back on board. Quote

d-d-d-dAz Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 (edited) SQUASH THE BEEF! Best angle WWE has ever done. 4 years in or something daft and it's still getting any old shite over. Jey Uso talking in his staccato, let-the-crowd-yell-yeet rhythm was very, very strange when he was talking about mental damage and equality. Keep it for the light material, Uce. Still, top notch. In my mind, Sami Zayn is kept in a small holding pen that Triple H is flying from venue to venue ready to unleash on the Bloodline when the time is right. Considering this was a pre-record, it must have been very weird for the audience listening to the OGBL talk around a match for Crown Jewel that they didn't know had been made. They were all sort of euphemistically talking about fighting at Crown Jewel, and then Jey slipped and said match and you could almost hear the sound of 15,000 fans scratching their heads. Nearly jumped through the ceiling when Roman dropped a yeet. Let's go ☝️ Edited November 2, 2024 by d-d-d-dAz Quote
DavidB6937 Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 I'm glad they're playing it logically. They're still referring to bad blood from the past. They're acknowledging it and saying it's not done. All too often we've had simple face turns and reunions without any attempt at logic and we're just meant to forget things. So it's nice to see Jey doing it this way. And there's just a few simple things that make the crowds pop without completely losing everyone's characters. Quote

Yeah, I think even five years ago a group like this would have just got back together because they're babyfaces now and that's good enough. I don't think it hurts them to have a bit of tension, and actually really reinforces how far the individuals have come. Quote

That's definitely the important thing. I'm all for a reunion but you don't want to lose the good job done in lifting up guys like Jey to make them even more over. You don't want to take that step back and just slot him in where he was before. He's his own man now and driving the decisions. As he should be. The crowd were singing his song without the music! I didn't think the match was announced until after Raw, and that Smackdown was recorded last Friday. Fair play for keeping it somewhat under wraps then, I guess. Quote

Paid Members RedTwoster Posted November 9, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 9, 2024 (edited) Goosebumps at that ending. Interesting that they made a point of reiterating the 5-on-5 format, which suggests to me The Rock will play a part. My guess is, he’ll be announced for Roman’s team, whilst Solo will tease a mystery participant as the fifth man…who is The Rock (who turns during the match), making it 5-on-4, and directing the build towards a Reigns/Rock Wrestlemania match - and perhaps also putting Solo on a path to rejoining his original team as Rock pushes him aside as leader. It'll be Zilla, surely? No way does Dwayne do a dangerous match. Quote
