Harry Wiseau Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 Jaffa Cakes aren't biscuits! or should that comment be left for the Big Debates topic? Quote
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted April 2, 2020 Paid Members Posted April 2, 2020 I’d have thought Ralphy would be more wary of malted milk. Surely they cause flashbacks. Quote

Please don't. Or next it will be 'how many sandwiches is this' and a word association game on here. Quote
Harry Wiseau Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 has anyone mentioned Freddo biscuits yet? they're phenomenal (eaten chocolate side down obviiously) For years i refused to eat chocolate covered Malted Milks because i love Malted Milks so much and the chocolate detracts from them, but if you have two and have the chocolate sides together like a sandwich they're great, the Sainsbury's ones especially so. Mr_Danger Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 Someone tell every supermarket in Britain they're stocking the jaffs cakes in the wrong section then. I didn't know until Off Menu mentioned it that 'Nice' biscuits are named after the place and not the adjective. Quote
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted April 13, 2020 Paid Members Posted April 13, 2020 (edited) Mrs came back from shopping with these earlier. I’m not a massive biscuit fan but I love a cherry bakewell, and cherry flavoured anything, so these get a thumbs up from me. I’ve just watched her clatter about half the packet while watching Bottom and seeing that...I don’t know if it’s the lockdown doing funny things to me, or her, or the biscuits or Rik Mayall but if we conceive a son tonight I’ll call him Squatting Neville in Rik’s honour. As you were. Edit - She’s fell asleep. Might as well finish the 3 biscuits that are left and get Babestation on. Edited April 13, 2020 by wandshogun09 Quote
Paid Members waters44 Posted April 14, 2020 Paid Members Posted April 14, 2020 (edited) They also do marmalade on toast flavour and strawberries and cream flavour. Only ever seen them in Waitrose Edited April 14, 2020 by waters44 Quote
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted April 14, 2020 Paid Members Posted April 14, 2020 She got them from the local Nisa down the road. Don’t like the sound of that marmalade on toast flavour. Quote

Come up with a new orange flavour. What d'you reckon?" "Mmm... Nice. But..." "But what? It's perfect!" "Tastes a bit... burnt?" "I was hoping you wouldn't notice. I've been trying everything to cover it up. Fuck it, back to the drawing board." "... Just call it marmalade on toast." Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted April 14, 2020 Paid Members Posted April 14, 2020 They sell the cherry bakewell ones in Co-Op as well. Might grab a packet later. Quote
