Got a huge bar of this in Portugal a week or so ago. It's pretty good tbh.

Chocolate in chocolate is the best chocolate. Nuts, yup. Popping candy works, caramel etc... all fine, but fucking jelly beans and the like is bad craic. Just as bad as liquor in chocolate. Weirdos. Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted August 31, 2018 Moderators Share Posted August 31, 2018 (edited) You were going well until you said popping candy was acceptable. Also marinating meat in yoghurt with spices is really common and tastes great. Â Edited August 31, 2018 by Chest Rockwell
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted August 31, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted August 31, 2018 I smashed a back tooth when I was 17 (a time in your life you really shouldnt be smashing teeth) eating a Double Decker. So they are safely outside the Champions League places in my league table. Must say, I love a good Whisper.
deathrey
Any mint chocolate fans? I love a dark chocolate with a mint fondant filling - After Eights, Frys Peppermint creams. My favourites are the After Eight Straws though, Elizabeth Shaw do a similar one too. Those things are like crack to me, if I open a packet, I eat the whole thing in the blink of an eye. Paid Members gmoney Posted August 31, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted August 31, 2018 Fry's Peppermint Creams are superb, truly chocolate royalty. They used to do an Orange one that I liked as a kid, but I haven't seen them in years. Mint Munchies/After Eights bites (they will always be Mintolas to me) are also the shit.

Lindt did a limited edition mint Lindor around Christmas and needless to say they were splendid. Cadbury's mint Oreo bars are superb too. deathrey
You can still get the Mint Lindor in the Lindt outlet shops. I never got to try them and I don't want to buy a whole box because no one else in my house eats them and I'll probably eat the whole box in one sitting. My doctor has told me to stay away from additional sugars and I can moderate with everything apart from mint chocolate

Paid Members Bellenda Carlisle Posted September 1, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted September 1, 2018 Why do other people's food choices bother you so much? As long as there are other chocolate bars available and the fish and chips don't suffer from the availability of halloumi I don't see why you'd care. They are a proper tooth cracker and give your jaw the sort of work out that'd be great if you were planning a career in porn. Not for me Clive. Mr_Danger
Where's the love for the manliest of chocolate bars? Lion Bars and Yorkies are always a welcome addition in my budget shop binge. Like the Phil and Grant of the chocolate world. Aldi do so much great stuff. Their Twix rip off Jive bars are great. Those mint crisp Pringles shaped things are good but my favourite is the Peanut butter Rolo type thing they do.

Chewy and flavoursome. Anything with fruit, jellies or nuts in should be fired to the moon. Oh and Cadbury>Galaxy
