Paid Members gmoney Posted February 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 1, 2017 My work wanted to go there for a works outing. I refused. We did foot golf once though, that was alright, it was about a tenner and you could take your own booze with youĀ
Paid Members PunkStep Posted February 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 1, 2017 I wouldn't mind that. Took the kids to Top Golf before, which is a good alternative to bowling.
Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted February 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 1, 2017 I have that big shites they might as well get a top hat and a walking cane and sing "Hello ma baby! Hello ma honey!" after it like in "Spaceballs".
Otto Dem Wanz
I've been to Bounce on a work do which was decent, it helps that the company paid for all of our ping pong time and booze. We got sussed pretty quickly trying to 'accidentally' hit the ball so it fell near a table of fitties so we could talk to them however.
Paid Members Carbomb Posted February 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 1, 2017 Plenty of places to play darts without engaging in all that nonsense. My favourite pubĀ was TheĀ Bricklayers' Arms by Tottenham Court Road (met Frankie there for a few pints once) - Sam Smith's the brewer, good place for darts. Fiver refundable deposit, that was all you needed. Haven't been for some time since central London got even more crowded and tourist-y than even a Londoner is prepared to put up with, and that particular part of London got overloaded with TV company people, so I don't know if that's still the case. Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted February 1, 2017 Moderators Share Posted February 1, 2017 (edited) I don't go looking for them so I might not be the best informed, but it seems very few pubs even have a dart board these days around these parts. There's only one that I know of for definite that still has one. Edited February 1, 2017 by Chest Rockwell
Paid Members Carbomb Posted February 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 1, 2017 (edited) It's still London we're talking about, man - sanity doesn't really reign here when it comes to economics. Ā EDIT: In response to Butch. Edited February 1, 2017 by Carbomb

Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted February 1, 2017 Moderators Share Posted February 1, 2017 I don't really play either; if I'm in the pub it's just for eating and drinking. But definitely if I had to choose one it would be darts.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted February 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 1, 2017 Pool bores the fuck out of me. Joined a Riley's once. My best memory was stopping halfway through a game to watch Hawk no-sell RVD's frog splash on the big screen.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted February 1, 2017 Moderators Share Posted February 1, 2017 Yeah, I think boring is certainly the best word for it. And people playing it get in the chuffing way.
Paid Members Carbomb Posted February 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 1, 2017 (edited) The Beaconsfield round the corner from my house had a snooker table. Was pissed off when they got rid of it. Ā EDIT: Just remembered, the Glasshouse Stores on Brewer Street in Soho has an old bar billiards table/machine. That's always fun. The Cheshire Cheese just off Fleet Street has free darts if you're round that way, they also have a Wii that never gets played and has a three inch layer of dust coating it. simonworden
Is that in there fancy new upstairs bit at the back? I always skulk to as low down in the cellars as they'll let me drink. Took years to realise the bot at the back existed always thought the ground floor was just the very old front bar
