Going to Portugal this summer, so I was doing some research on what to eat there. Apparently one of the specialities is a famous sandwich called the francesinha. It looks artery cloggingly delicious.

 

Does your wife's family ever make stuff like this, Sergio?

I've never had that — grandpa does make some cracking stews with about seven meats in them, but the most prominent portuguese thing they all seem to make is calde verde, which is great but has no place in this thread.
