With all the fans Negan has in the comics they did a great job in getting people to despise him.

 

Absolutely heart breaking episode which i needed to watch in 2 sittings.

Well, Shane (not much of a bad guy) and the Governer both only stuck around for 2 seasons so it would follow the same lines if JDM did leave at the end of S8.

 

I really need to learn to do spoiler tags on my phone but yes to Branquey's two points particular #1. I totally didn't see that coming and it was horrendous to watch.

 

By the way, I'm fucked today. So tired from the weekend and staying up last night that I'm currently hiding in the toilet rather than head bobbing at my desk.

There's a posh coffee machine downstairs so I'm wandering down there at least once an hour. Only had 3 hours sleep yesterday morning and now 2.5 today so I'm totally running on empty. I'm glad I did because there's no way I would've been able to avoid social media though given that it's my job.

I knew that Glenn snuffed it in the comic but thought he'd be kept on for a little while in this, even if they did fake kill him last series.

Was intense seeing his face fucked up with those final looks to Maggie.

 

Rick visualising everyone else getting bumped off was a bit odd. Figured it was just a vision when Daryl got hit, which turned to hope when Carl got it.

 

 

I'm assuming next week will be the Morgan stuff from the trailers meeting Ezeikiel

Was really unexcited for this coming back, and not feeling any sympathy for Ricks mob as they have been far from innocent in killing when it suited the last few series

You know in Game of Thrones when one of the main characters dies in a really horrific and violent way or something terrible happens to them and while you're shocked and sad you know it totally makes sense story/character/plot wise?

I just posted something on Facebook without thinking and a guy just had a go and unfriended me for spoilering. I admit that I should have thought first (it wasn't a blatant intentional spoiler, I just mentioned the actor freeing up his schedule) but FFS if you want to avoid spoilers then don't go on fucking social media! It's been nearly 18 hours since it aired in the US and it's everywhere. I almost spoilered myself with the 30min delay on things on Twitter so, guess what? I didn't go on fucking Twitter.

Incredible episode, really underlines how dull Fear the Walking Dead is in comparison though.

I feel bad for them that some of the noncier corners of the Internet (im looking at you Vox) are giving them shit for it being glorified torture porn.

 

You've waited 6 months to see who gets their clock cleaned by a fucking barbed wire baseball bat on a show about a zombie apocalypse. It's meant to be trashy, to a point. Stop hyper intellectualising things, and then complaining when they don't meet your own standards.

 

It was a glorious hour which married trashy, B-Movie style horror violence with pretty good acting and special effects. That's all I really want from The Walking Dead.

As for the Facebook thing, that's touch and go. We all know it airs at 2am; most won't. Depends who your friends are but I wouldn't expect a spoiler for this show on Facebook... But Twitter I would. Funny that.
