pryko
Is Adam Rose South African or is it just a terrible attempt at an English accent? He's South African

Paid Members Dead Mike Posted April 23, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted April 23, 2014 Fair play, watching those vignettes I thought he'd beaten Don Cheadle for the worst English accent ever. I stand corrected....Big Don still wears the crown.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted April 23, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted April 23, 2014 taking a bit of time off after Mania but i'll always breeze through this thread and i cant recall such an overwhelmingly negative response to a Raw ever.
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted April 23, 2014 Moderators Share Posted April 23, 2014 I think it's a natural comedown from one of the best Manias in a while. It's all proportionate!

Who else has pretended to be English in wrestling?

Definitely worst accent I think I've seen in a film. Even worse than good ol' Dick.
ClassicsGuy
I just found out that Lana is actually American! The Russian act is a gimmick. Was that obvious to other folk?  Videos of Lana in her former life as the aspiring actress C.J. Perry.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRtIAXHA4xc  and here:   She's had quite the real life - born in Florida, brought up in Latvia, moved back to the U.S. to New York on her own when she was 17. Worked as a dancer on Broadway and commercially. Was in a shortlived girl-band that made one song. Was a jobbing actress, until she got the call from WWE. Still only aged 29.  30 minute 'Shoot' interview with her here from last year:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RP0VKHSWA-Q Edited April 23, 2014 by ClassicsGuy
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted April 29, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted April 29, 2014 Well...that was fairly dreadful. I don't think there was a thing on the show that wasn't embarassing, shit or boring.
Paid Members FLips Posted April 29, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted April 29, 2014 Yeah pretty dull overall. Crowd were really shit, sounded like a Smackdown crowd. Like all their reactions had to be piped in because there was none.
