Paid Members WWFChilli Posted November 25, 2015 Paid Members Posted November 25, 2015 Yeah good old Bradshaw, I like being reminded that he was a phenomenonal bellend with a jock complex back in the day. Blackman sparking him out was great.
WyattSheepMask Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 (edited) And according to Edge's book, JBL was partial to committing a bit of molestation in the showers Edited November 25, 2015 by WyattSheepMask
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 25, 2015 Paid Members Posted November 25, 2015 It's weird to see how JBL went from what he was to what he is now, it doesn't even seem like the same bloke. I need to get re-accquainted with Callis though, i followed ECW hardcore back in the day but i probably haven't seen any of his stuff since the company closed.
Paid Members Maverick Posted November 25, 2015 Paid Members Posted November 25, 2015 There isn't much to see bar five minutes in TNA. Loved him as Cyrus

What about him has changed apart from attitudes towards him?
The Reverend Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Just reading a report on the top Christmas toys since 1980 and WWF figures were No.1 for Christmas 1992. I know 92 was a cracking year in the UK but I thought I remember that by after Summerslam it all pretty much fell on it's arse.

At my school everyone in Year 6 was still into it when we left, which was 1993. Even WrestleMania IX didn't dampen our ardour. For a bit, anyway.

I think I must have gotten every hasbro available that year. What a Christmas that was. My favourite ever. My brother got WrestleMania Challenge for the NES that year as well.
Paid Members garynysmon Posted November 25, 2015 Paid Members Posted November 25, 2015 (edited) Yup, me too. My Dad couldn't understand why Randy Savage used Land of Hope and Glory in the game when he was American. That was the legendary Christmas when I got Legion of Doom, Hulk Hogan and Sgt Slaughter action figures as well as that ring with the American flag in the corner. My gran had also picked up a Honky Tonk Man action figure with German packaging which she'd bought from god knows where in Birkenhead while on a Xmas shopping trip. I couldn't tell you who the Intercontinental Champion is right now, but 1992 is still as vivid as ever. Edited November 25, 2015 by garynysmon
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted November 25, 2015 Paid Members Posted November 25, 2015 (edited) Our video shop round the corner nicked a load from a warehouse, so he had loads on a rack next to the birthday cards for 3 quid each. So we ended up buying loads. That was the good old days when video shops had porn on the shelves and stolen Turtle figures (in packets for some reason) on a spiral rack. Video shops were so amazing back then. Before Blockbuster murdered it. George's Video Shop was like Del Boys garage. Edited November 25, 2015 by IANdrewDiceClay
The Clint Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Anyone remember Ritz ? Before Blockbuster bought out their chain of stores.
HeavyT Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 How did you know the toys were stolen? My video/gaming shop often had imported pokemon cards when that was big, later we found out they were Chinese fakes lol
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted November 25, 2015 Paid Members Posted November 25, 2015 Everyone around our area knew George. If you wanted any NES games, they'd suddenly go missing from Woolworths.
HeavyT Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Haha fair play! I was too young to properly remember but my brother kept getting hasbros well into 94!
