Really worked though and she's like a different dog. That’s brill and sounds a bit more affordable for me than dog therapy right now (though thanks @Joe Blogas it may definitely be an option eventually). Quote
Paid Members choccy Posted January 15, 2023 Paid Members Posted January 15, 2023 There’s also Adaptil plug ins. I’ve used the cat version and found it useful. If those options don’t work, some vets have nurses who specialise in animal behaviour too. Not sure if they would give free advice but guess they might have a chat from a ‘is it behaviour or medical’ perspective. Also, if he’s insured, behaviourists are sometimes covered on that so it may lesson the load. Quote

Paid Members Tommy! Posted April 2, 2023 Paid Members Posted April 2, 2023 Mines not well, I think it's a tumor but we've taken every chance we can with the vets but I think I'm going to have to let her go very soon. Here she is sleeping calmly in the vets happy to be back with me after a blood test. Quote
Keith Houchen Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 Oh that’s rotten, mate. Hope you’re ok and enjoying the time you have. Quote

Paid Members Thunderplex Posted April 2, 2023 Paid Members Posted April 2, 2023 Hoping the very best for her. Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted April 2, 2023 Paid Members Posted April 2, 2023 Same here. Fingers crossed for the best, but in the meantime I hope you're able to enjoy the time you have with her as much as possible. Quote
Paid Members Tommy! Posted April 2, 2023 Paid Members Posted April 2, 2023 She's not happy being picked up any more so I'm spending lots of time spread out on the floor feeding her from my hand. It's killing my knees and breaking my heart. Quote
Paid Members Thunderplex Posted April 2, 2023 Paid Members Posted April 2, 2023 I was the same with Sam in his last days. Heartbreaking, but so worth it to them. Quote
Paid Members Tommy! Posted April 6, 2023 Paid Members Posted April 6, 2023 Some good news, we're waiting on confirmation next week due to bank holidays but it's looking good to be a heart issue we can treat with medication. The vets braced us for the worst but I think she's going to be with us a little longer. Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted April 6, 2023 Paid Members Posted April 6, 2023 Yay! That's great to hear. Glad for you, man. Quote
