When I was riddled with Covid and could barely get out of bed, Clarence wouldn’t leave me. I’d be turning from side to side and each time I did, he’d hop over me so he was nuzzled right next to me. This was every day for over a fortnight, and aside from him eating and going for a shite, he was there every minute. Bruce just fucked off, mind. Lilou had the best day, she loves going to his work as they all love her and treat her like royalty. Last visit they were very curious and wary of the new surroundings. Today’s visit, they couldn’t give a shit and caused murder. Here’s Claz about 40 seconds before I went on a video meeting with a customer who spends a fortune with me. Thankfully they found it endearing. It's great. At some point though I will upgrade the main cushion by cutting a piece of memory foam to size (it's normal foam and has got pretty flattened now). He'd not been well for a while. I was saying I hoped nothing happened to him while I was looking after the pub for her at the end of the month, and she said she didn't even think he'd be here then. We open the kitchen door and he's laying there motionless on the floor, legs splayed.
