Paid Members Thunderplex Posted March 23, 2022 Paid Members Posted March 23, 2022 Aww, bloody hell. Loved Dog, she was adorable. Please can you send him my condolences, I know what she meant to him. Quote
Butch2000 Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 Thank you for everyone who gave their condolences. I got back from darts on Monday and she had a funny turn. Wouldn't or couldn't move, wouldnt eat or drink, bowels were going everywhere. She kept falling to sleep but refused to sleep to fight the brave bitch. If she went to sleep she'd have died. So I stayed up through the night with her. I dread to think what she went through. Finest Dog ever been. But from finding her as a stray in 2005, with 2 teeth in her head. She'd nest all over everywhere, then for her to be brave enough to come out from under the table to come fishing, hunting, and shooting with me. Or even better, when we'd curl up on the sofa to watch Fred Dibnah on iPlayer. Or mainly how she was the best friend a man ever had. Love you Dog. 17 Glorious Years. Quote

Paid Members Carbomb Posted May 12, 2022 Paid Members Posted May 12, 2022 Awww, man - I am so sorry, Plex. He was truly a handsome lad, and he sounds like the best boy. I hope you and the family are holding up OK. Quote
Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted May 13, 2022 Awards Moderator Posted May 13, 2022 Sorry to hear that Plexy. What a good looking lad. Quote
lars85 Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 Yeah, really sorry for your loss @Thunderplex. Like others have said, what a good looking boy. I know it's not much comfort, but I'm sure you've got a ton of happy memories of him. Hold on to those. Quote
lars85 Posted May 21, 2022 Posted May 21, 2022 (edited) We took him on his first boat trip. He had a go at being the captain. And some people in another boat thought we'd brought a monkey with us. Edited May 22, 2022 by lars85 * Quote

Paid Members JLM Posted August 1, 2022 Paid Members Posted August 1, 2022 This is my favourite girl Sylvie. Adopted from the Greyhound Trust. Covid happened just as she was about to start racing, so she's a "retired" racer but never ran a race and is only 2 years old. Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted August 1, 2022 Paid Members Posted August 1, 2022 Aww, she's lovely. Look at those eyes Quote
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted August 1, 2022 Moderators Posted August 1, 2022 The turtle neck that covers her ears is an amazing look ? Quote
